Well folks, that’s a wrap on another summer at the Lazy Moose!

We want to send out a HUGE thank you to all of our customers, neighbors and friends who made this an amazing season at the Lazy Moose! We truly appreciate every one of you who stopped in, stayed with us, shared a story, bought a souvenir, or simply waved as you came and went.

The water is off, the leaves are falling, and winter is knocking on the door — but we’re not going anywhere!

We’re still offering electric sites for winter camping, so if you’re into winter adventures, chasing the Northern Lights, or just looking for a quiet place away from town, come on out and get cozy with us.

And don’t worry, the store will be open daily! We’ll have goodies from Kowgirl Kanning & great soaps and more from Soaps By Goats, plus Lazy Moose swag and souvenirs, snacks, hot & cold drinks, propane exchange and plenty of other goodies.

So bring your long johns, your sense of adventure and maybe a good pair of gloves — we’ll see you this winter at the Lazy Moose!

Took a little time today to wander around the Lazy Moose and soak it all in.

The sights, the sounds, that crisp fall air… and yes, even those smells that let you know winter is getting ready to knock on the door.

Fall in Alaska really is something special. The colors are showing off right now, and it’s hard not to stop for a minute and think, Yep… this is why we live here.

We’re winding down our summer season and getting ready to switch gears for winter camping. Before long, we’ll be welcoming folks looking to chase the Northern Lights, enjoy a little winter adventure, or just experience Alaska when things get a whole lot quieter.

But summer isn’t quite finished with us yet!

You’ve still got a few days to come enjoy the Lazy Moose with full-service RV sites before we start winterizing. So if you’re still rolling around Alaska, come on by and enjoy a little fall before the snow decides it’s time to move in.

The Moose will be waiting!
