Good Evening Family, Friends and Clients,
Above Standard Equestrian is excited to announce that we will be moving our operation to Deep Sigh Horse Farm just 15 minutes north of downtown Beaufort. Many of you know that this is an ENORMOUS answer to prayer, and Barbara and Kirk O'Leary have graciously opened their lovely 16 acre farm to us. We are thrilled to be back in Beaufort! Barbara has been a long standing member of the Lowcountry horse community and is looking forward to slowly working towards her retirement and having the time to enjoy her personal horses, especially her new dressage mount "Oliver".
We have several boarders and students who will be joining us in our new location, and plan on accepting new clients effective Sept. 1. at Deep Sigh. We will continue to operate our business under our Above Standard name, and you can expect the same quality of care and dedication to teaching that we hope we have always provided. Lessons will begin in the new location Sept. 6 and spots are already filling fast! Saturday lessons will also be available. Please call or email to reserve your lesson spot. We are currently working on updating our website, and details on boarding and lessons will go up on our page soon, but in the meantime feel free to contact me for more information on boarding, lessons and rates. Lessons will continue on Hilton Head throughout August.
You can view the new farm at www.dshorsefarm.com. Amenities include a jumping arena with lights for evening riding and lessons, a grass dressage ring, wash racks, tack room, and pastures with run in sheds. The barn and grounds are very clean, neat, well kept and easily accessible from Beaufort, Bluffton and Savannah. Barbara also operates an onsite horse show series and we look forward to being able to participate in the events and shows she offers at the farm.
While we are excited about the move, the new facility, rekindling our relationship with old clients and friends, as well as being closer to our schools, church and family, we are very sad to leave behind some wonderful clients and friends in Bluffton and Hilton Head. We have truly met a group of exceptional people, both adults and kids alike, and are very grateful for the support from our clients "South of the Broad". I can appreciate the travel time for boarding and lessons, however we hope to see you on the other side of the river at least once in awhile! Again, thank you for your support and love!!!
