Are you currently learning how to drive? Here are some driving tips for you to remember.

1. Get familiar with your car.
2. Find a comfortable position to drive
3. Avoid distractions when driving
4. Hold the steering wheel correctly
5. Remember to use your indicators or turn signals

7. Maintain a decent distance from other vehicles

Hi olgeta, here's what you need to know:

Learn-Rite Driving School has three options available.

1. Option 1 - 3,500vt for one hour. This option is suitable for people who have busy schedules and can only take classes when they're free.

2. Option 2 – 10,000vt for one week (1hr per day for 6 consecutive days). This option is suitable for those who want more practice and want to gain their confidence on the road.

3. Option 3 – 30,000vt for 20hrs within 30 days (consecutively). This option is for beginners.

*If you've never driven before, you will need to do a minimum of 20hrs driving classes.

You will need a learners licence before classes can commence. First, you need a medical certificate. You can get this from Centre Point Health Centre (1,000vt). Take your medical certificate to Customs, fill out the necessary forms, pay a fee of 1,500vt and they will issue you with your Learners Licence. Then bring that Learners Licence to us, and you can start your lessons! Simple as that 🙂

We operate 7am-6pm Monday to Fridays, and 7am-12pm Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

Once our instructor is satisfied with your progress, you will be advised to do a driving test with the Police Traffic department. If you pass, you can get your full driver's licence. Please note that there is a separate fee for your full driver's licence.

Hi olgeta,

We have a new instructor! Meet Kenneth. He is pleasant, patient, understanding towards students different pace of learning and is very friendly. He knows how to make students feel comfortable and at ease, taking the pressure off being behind the wheel.

We are now accepting new students so get in touch with us if you would like to learn how to drive.

Students who had signed up with our previous instructor can still continue with their lessons. Please just get in touch with us. (NB: we have tried to contact most of you but your numbers in our database either are switched off or out of order).

Attention all students: Please be advised that Marie France is no longer our driving instructor. She has decided to move on without giving us much notice. We are slowly contacting all students to reschedule classes.

Please be reassured that we will still honour our arrangement with you and our new instructor will be starting before the end of the week.

Also note: DO NOT settle any balance of your fees with Marie France. Contact us on this page or call Jack on 7741137 regarding your fees.

Before you can start learning how to drive, you will need to get your learners permit. This permit or licence will allow you to drive a vehicle. First, you need a medical certificate. You can get this from Centrepoint Health Centre (1,000vt). Take your medical certificate to Customs, fill out the necessary forms, pay a fee of 1,500vt and they will issue you with your Learners Licence. Updated on March 1, 2021 - Marie France is NO LONGER an instructor for Learn-Rite Driving School, as of Saturday February 20, 2021. This school will not be responsible for any fees paid to her after February 20, 2021. ALL students who signed up with our school prior to February 20 will still receive their driving lessons through our new instructor. We are now contacting students to schedule new times. Thank you.
