As some.of us may know the heart of most vehicles start with its motor/engine and with that understanding what an engine is and the engine's dynamics is what makes things make sense. Power, robustness and functionality can be found through data, without it all you have is presumptions and assumptions, an average home owner daily driver MAY not see the complexities and stresses an engine endures in comparison to motorsport performance builds in a short time span and because of this, data is very relevant because only through this method can true engineering be done and successful.
