Please schedule an appointment before just stopping by the shop.

This request applies to EVERYONE, whether you're stopping by to shoot the s**t, to maybe discuss an upcoming project, or attempting to pressure me to get your bike done because you wanna ride tomorrow... BTW, I want your bike done and outta here asap. I'd be much happier knowing you're out riding than waiting on your ride. But, every minute I'm disrupted by folks stopping by the shop, calling, texting looking for updates, etc... is time being taken away from keeping the bikes moving and getting yours done. I generally tell my customers "I will keep ya posted" meaning, if there's a status update, you will hear from me. I assure you, your ride is not just sitting here. If there's additional findings while working on your bike or if I'm waiting on part delivery and have an idea when she'll be complete, you will hear from me.

I'll quit my bitch'n, sorry, rant over. This kinda stuff is just incredibly time consuming and can really hurt the flow here, especially being just a one man shop (yes, hiring someone has been on my mind, maybe next year). I hope ya understand.

EDIT: This one Trike alone made the $ and time invested on the winch work, well worth it. Pulled it straight up, tied her down, and hit the road. Very little effort which is much appreciated in the current tropical conditions!

Been thinking about doing this for a while now.

Remote winch setup. No more push'n dead bikes up onto the trailer. This will come in handy, especially with the dead trike that's scheduled to be picked up this week. :)

Bike in the shop for a tune flash. Took her out for a quick test ride after flashing just to make sure she was running well. Got out of my neighborhood, probably up to 40mph and it just did not feel solid, kinda float'n around, almost like riding on a flat, kinda made me pucker a little. Lets just say, the test ride didn't last very long.

Just a hunch but this may have something to do with it...

Hard to get a solid charge when the stator rotor has no teeth and is spinning freely!

Compensator came loose, allowing the rotor to flop around eventually sheering off the teeth.

That might explain the erratic idle...

I've heard of intake valve pins cracking, first I've seen it though.
