Greetings Happy Days! We wanted to alert everyone that we have encountered a rattlesnake on the property.

Please be cautious and be aware of your surroundings especially when outside, opening your front door, and walking pets.

Rattlesnakes are a natural part of Florida living. If you encounter a rattlesnake, just keep your distance and walk away.

According to the Pasco County website, Pasco County Animal Control can assist with the removal of a rattlesnake from your yard. You can contact them for help with this situation. For immediate assistance, please call Animal Services at 813-929-1212. If it's an after-hours emergency, you can reach them at (727 ) 847-8102, option 7.

Good Afternoon. We are delighted to announce that Happy Days is ready to welcome our snowbirds back!

We will be operating with full activities starting January 1 and we hope to have our pool open by January 1 as well.

Good afternoon! The boil water notice has been lifted. Go ahead and start using the water normally.

SNOWBIRDS - We are still testing our system and we are keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Sara. Our concern with Sara is the amount of rain we may get. We will give you more guidance on Monday the 18th.

We are still testing our water system. However, you can start using the water conservatively – so normal activities, but hold off on doing your laundry. We are going to continue to test for the next week. We are hopeful that we can return to normal by the end of the month. During this time, please remember that we are still under a boil water notice. We will let you know if anything changes.

SNOWBIRDS – We will update you on Monday the 18th with the progress. We are aiming for December 1.

Hi All. The water is still off in the park. The water being distributed is for CONSERVATIVE USE. Quick baths and bucket flushing. NO LAUNDRY, NO LONG SHOWERS.

Snowbirds - DO NOT ARRIVE UNTIL WE CAN GET THE WATER MAIN REPAIRED AND RUNNING AT FULL CAPACITY. We will let you know when that is - but it's not going to be sooner than December 1. Each and every one of you that still chooses to arrive given the water situation is only causing more issues for those who have nowhere else to go and for our staff. There is not running water. There are not activities. The pool isn't open. Please, do not arrive until we give you the OK.

The water remains off because we recently discovered a large water main break while testing our system. The break is underground and under the flood water on the south end of the park.

We cannot make the repair until we can safely gain access to the break. We cannot gain access when it’s underwater.

The estimated time for the water to be restored is between December 1 and January 1.

A portable water tank has been brought in so that you can bucket out water to bathe, flush, etc.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please know we are doing all that we can.

SNOWBIRDS - PLEASE DELAY YOUR ARRIVAL UNTIL WE HAVE COMPLETED THE REPAIR. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW ONCE IT IS COMPLETE.

Unfortunately, the water is still off. The water cannot be turned on until the flood and rainwater recede. We cannot run our sewer plant unless there's a place for the processed water to drain. And with the surrounding areas flooded and the high saturation of the ground, sufficient drainage is not happening. Again, this is not in our control and not something we want to do. Please be patient and delay your arrival. Thank you.

SNOWBIRDS - PLEASE DELAY YOUR ARRIVAL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Our sewer system is not operating at full capacity and will not be able to until all water in the Park has receded. If the sewer meets capacity, we will be forced to SHUT THE WATER OFF. Be considerate of your full-time neighbors and delay your arrival. Thank you!

We know everyone is excited to get back to their winter homes, however, we still need for you to wait. The park still has standing water. The County is still pumping water off of Allen Road and 54. We are not sure whether we are able to handle all the snowbird traffic. Give us some time for the water to go down. Give us some time to get the park cleaned up. We know it's frustrating, but please be patient. It's only October, there's plenty of time for a good season. We will continue to give updates here. Thank you.
