A question we hear a lot, but it’s a hard one to answer with the accuracy that some buyers want. I’ve driven hundreds of auction vehicles and 9/10 times you can tell in the first 5 miles if the major components are generally “healthy”. But nonetheless we can’t see the future. Any of these vehicles could shut down at any time for any reason. They’re USED vehicles. I can never tell you with certainty that you’ll have no major issues in the near future, but what I can say is that I’ll always tell you when I’d jump in it and drive it anywhere.

This 2021 Yukon XL is one of those. Came in from auction, gave it a once over, put a few miles on it and listed it for sale. Sold my 2025 that I was going to keep and decided to keep this one since it hadn’t sold by that time. That came with an upcoming trip to FL & no 2025 to drive, so what did we do? Loaded it down & drove 13 hours at intermittently criminal speeds. Not a single hiccup down and back. Does it always go this way with auction vehicles? No. But honestly 95% of the time it does as long as they pass that 5 mile test. This unit is NOT for sale at this time. Just wanted to shout out the good ones that come through and tell any future buyers…I drive these units. Everyday. If I’m not confident in something, I’ll tell you. If I haven’t put many miles on it yet, I’ll tell you. I buy what I know & I pass on any knowledge I can. These are used vehicles & they are never perfect, but we turn some pretty nice rides and hope that everyone is satisfied!
