Part of the pre-trip inspection includes checking the trailer for any potential issues. ⚠️ Some of the things you'll check for are that the landing gear has no missing parts, the crank handle is secure, and the support frame and landing pads are not damaged. You'll also need to check that the reflectors on the trailer are clean, not missing/broken, and are the proper color. ⁠

It's important to leave space between you and a semi-truck whenever you're in front of one. Especially when traveling on the highway, it takes up to 2 football fields of space for them to be able to come to a complete stop. 🏈

For your safety and the safety of the truck driver, you should NEVER cut off or abruptly brake in front of a semi-truck for this reason! ⚠️ Truck drivers cannot magically stop the truck instantly; drive responsibly and make sure to give extra space to larger vehicles on the road so that everyone can get to their destination safely.
