In 1978 Donny began his racing career at the Siskiyou Motor Speed Way . Since 1994 Donny's cars have all had the Batman logo on them .Donny developed a very loyal following. Fans of all ages calling out "its Batman" Thru the grandstands. As a dare from a fellow driver Donny would have to wear the Batman mask he had purchased "only if he won the trophy dash"....Donny won the dash that night .An

d the ledged of Donny "the Batman " Bottoms began. Thru all the blood, sweat, tears, and countless hours of working on the "Bat Mobile" Donny's son D.J. has stood by his side. Being Donny's biggest fan. The bond that this father son team as built not only for their love of race cars, but for each other is amazing. "He's my best friend" has been quoted by both. Donny had planned on passing the car down to D.J when he was old enough and that time has come to build a " Fan Favorite Legend" out of D.J Bottoms. As a full time student D.J has held a 3.8 or higher grade point average thru the entire year. D.J s activities include basketball with his friends, playing the drums for the school marching band ,and sings in the choir. D.j has many passions in life family being one of these. The love and support from family and his father Donny has made it possible for this long awaited dream of becoming a race car driver ,to now becoming a reality.

Another great night for this young race car driver. 5th in his heat and 11th in the main. He just keeps getting better. His finish in the main says nothing about how well he did,so we'll take the positives and get back to work. We keep giving him more and he responds very well. You did a great job tonight🏁

Sitting here in the pits by myself taking in what Connor did tonight, he's running against some talent drivers, and held his own and is making amazing strides. Got 6th in the B-main transfered to the A-main started 20th finished 14th. Car isn't tore up,he does everything asked of him and gives us great feedback. So proud of you Connor, so glad you said yes when I asked if you wanted to drive my car. Short night and back up here tomorrow for night 2.

Well Connor's first race was great ,had some issues and some mechanical problems but battled through most them and we had a good run and tons of fun. We will fix the car and be back at SOS in 2 weeks. Connor is a very talented young man and is already giving us good feed back on what he's feeling in the car. We all are very proud of him and can't wait to get back out there.

Going to race tomorrow night at SOS, this will be Connor's first race in the car, going to be a fun night.
