It’s an amazing to me at the internet experts that didn’t know about this. It was about a 25/30 horsepower change just from the change in rating then about another 30 hp from the addition of emissions add ons and tuning. Making it look like horsepower dropped by more than 60 when it was only 30 or so. Plus the weight of the cars increased in many cases and that also helped slow the cars down. This has been a manufactured stigma on these cars especially the early 70’s cars that lead to the term malaise. An unfortunate term attached to what actually were pretty decent automobiles.

Another busy day today. Retirement?
I finally got the 300 Hemi C delivered yesterday afternoon. Car looks great. I’ll head up to the DMV then the state inspection shop and back to the DMV. and somewhere in there I got to take a load to the trash dump, make a bank deposit and grab lunch. Then make a video for my YouTube channel. She looks good with my vintage 91 New Yorker in the background. You can tell thats a high traffic area by the shop door as the grass just won’t grow despite all the rain we’ve had. I think I found a cool place to make video from. An old out of business building with a nice woods line. Perfect. Better than the backyard or driveway
