The size difference between the old piston and new piston. For the Honda Crf50 Build is absolutely INSANE! Not to mention the difference in size between the factory cam lobes and the new performance can along with the oversized valves. This this is a ripper now! 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies all day!

2018 Honda Crf50 with 88cc Race Motor Build

NEW PARTS LIST:

52mm high compression piston
New cylinder
CNC ported race head w/ oversize valves 22/25mm

First ride after heat cycles went well. This little thing is absolutely ripping. The front wheel comes up with ease! Carburetor is being tuned tomorrow. We have to try and get rid of the slight hanging idle that the chineese carbs are known for, but if not, we are going to switch it up to a nibbi carb! This was a fun build for us to do today and happy it was able to get done. It's being done for a 8 year old family member. He rode it first and loves it. Will update with more videos of it in the morning.

Oem Crankshaft- great shape. Spins nice and smooth. Have video of it turning upon request. No up and down play. Side to side clearance is within spec. Can also include the timing chain gear if needed. $80 shipped.

Bottom end bolt and hardware kit. $35 comes with every thing seen on the pic with all the bolts. 99% full bolt kit for bottom end here including all case bolts. All threads intact.

Flywheel and one-way gear. Overall nice condition. Works properly and pulled from bike that had spark. $75 shipped

Full Working Transmission with extras- Comes with everything seen in the transmission pics. Shift forks look good and no damaged spotted on any of the gear teeth or the sides of the gears where they grab. Priced to move at only $100!

Z400 parts motor. PARTS FOR SALE. The left center case is sold and going to a customer. Everything else is for sale including a good smooth crank and a good full clutch with low to zero hours on the plates and fibers. Transmission and flywheel is good as well. Rebuilding and Cleaning this YFZ450 cylinder head. Nice clean head. Installing new Kibble White valve guides(all 5) and seals. Its getting a new set of ProX valves and valve springs. Going to polish the outside. And I'm also working on a mild port and polish job.

Once I'm done with it I am posting it up FOR SALE.

Nothing too crazy on the port job. Just smoothing down the exhaust port and polishing it like a mirror. I took out minimal material here as to not get too close to the coolant ports. The floor of the ex port is kind of thin and it's easy to break into the coolant port. Took out a small amount off the bottom angle to make it less of a sharp turn

The intake port will have casting marks removed and port matched to the carb boot. The the rest of the surface will have minimal materials removed.

The ports on all 5 valves will also be matched to the seats so there is no edges right there where the seat meets the ports for air flow to be obstructed.

Here are a few pics of the state and condition of the head right now as it's being worked on.

The pics do not do great justice at showing how nice the exhaust ports look right now. And please remember it is far from finished there's alot of work left on this head before it's ready.
