Today is a day that I am sure a lot of us will never forget. Many families and friends were affected by what happened on this day. It does not feel like 23 years since this awful day… The memories of that day will be with us for always.
Our thoughts are with all those that were affected by this day.
We will never forget everyone who lost their life on 9/11/2001

This day 14 years ago changed our direction in life. This is a day that Dave and I decided to jump out on a limb and try this thing called being business owners.
I wouldn’t want to be doing this with anyone else.
Anyone who’s says that it is easy has never tried it before.

Dave and I have dealt with it together whatever comes our way we do our best to get through it together.

This is a day that we celebrate to say hey we can do it we can run a business together.

We are so thankful and appreciate all the customers who have come through our doors to trust us to work on their cars.

Thank you Dave for all the hard work that you do for all of us!!

Now off to see if I can find a cake. Sounds like a good excuse to have a piece of cake. Lol

Wow next year will be year 15!!!!! That went by fast!!!!

22 years ago is a day that we all should never forget.
Today we remember that terrible day of 9/11/01. A day that I will never forget. Living only 2 hours away from it at the time hit close to us in a distant way. Our thoughts and hearts go out to everyone effected by this awful day.

This year I decided to join a good friend of ours who does a walk for Alzheimer's each year. The walk is on September 16, 2023

One of our customers came in and gave this to Dave today. They asked him if he knew that there was a mechanics appreciation day. And they wanted him to know that they really appreciate him. It’s things like this that make Dave feel like his job is worth doing.
He is always putting 110% in and always has the customers best interest at heart in everything that he does.
I am bias but I also think that Dave is The Best Mechanic there is out there!!

We had a customer come in the other day with this shirt on. We thought that it was funny since we put the post up the other day with the Camry with 313,131 miles on it. The customer asked to have a picture taken with Dave. I was checking our e-mail today and see that our customer sent us this.

It’s nice to have customers with a little bit of a sense of humor.

The answer to yesterday’s question is a 2005 Toyota Camry.
When a customer ask Dave what a good reliable car is to buy he always suggest a Toyota or a Honda.
As you can see this car with 313,131 still looks like it is decent shape. Not to many people keep their cars to this amount mile’s anymore.

Since we are the closest to the Maine Turnpike I figured that I would go daily to see the progress of the old toll booths being taken down. I have to say that just from them working yesterday and today they have made quite the progress. I can imagine that taking things apart like this is an interesting part of the job. I will be going down at some point each day to see the progress of this project and take pictures !! I am hoping tomorrow to be able to get down there and see them taking things apart.

Today is 10 years since we signed on the dotted line to become the new owners of Bob’s Automotive. We would like to thank all of our customers for the past 10 years. Thank you for trusting us with your cars. We have always tried our best to do the best work that we can for all of you.
