Well today was a great day here at 3OGCC, we sold our first vehicle. Our 1963 Chevy yellow hot rod pick up is off the market. This truck went so fast I didn't even have a chance to put up the photos. Congrats to our buyer, he said he bought it for his wife, but may not let her drive it...lol

Just a little info on our latest find the 1965 Fairlady
Model Overview

History of the 1963-1970 Datsun 1500 / 1600 / 2000 Roadster
To the uniformed, the Datsun roadsters (the collective nick name for all models in the U.S. They’re known as the Fairlady in Japan) are just Japanese MGB copies, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In point of fact, the Datsun pre-dated the introduction of the MGB by several months, and any styling similarities are coincidental. Whereas the performance of the MGB began to slide downward post-1967, it was just the opposite for the Datsun.
Datsun roadsters are pleasant-looking with more of a bias toward “cute” than handsome, the small hood scoop and stacked tail lights are unique features. The majority of cars out there are the smaller displacement 1500 and 1600 models. The 2000 didn’t become available until mid-1967. The difference was pronounced, however. Where the 1600 had around 90 hp, the 2000 had 135 hp out of the box and more could be had with a factory tuning kit. The 2000 was a legitimate stoplight sleeper and the mid-year 1967 version is rare and desirable with a better looking dash (pre-1968 cars had a handsome steel dash with toggle switches) and a short windshield.
Datsun roadsters raced successfully in SCCA matches and continue to be good vintage racers. They’re more durable than most of their British rivals but far less well supported in the parts world. Just a fraction of what is available for an MGB is sourceable for a Datsun roadster, an important consideration if you’re restoring a car.

Today we went and picked up the 1965 Datsun Fair Lady Convertible (hard and soft top) out of a barn. Just wanted to share these pictures of what we are starting with. Our research has found that there are only 21 of these cars left in the world today. Cant wait to restore this and find her a fabulous new home and owner.

This is beautiful 1962 Rambler Deluxe. This car is in good condition inside and out. Runs and drives just like it did in 1962. Has a cast iron block sporting a 195.6 cubic inch flathead 6 cylinder engine. The two-door sedan body style Rambler Classic was a unique one year offering for 1962. This car has a little wear on the rear bumper, needs door rubber replaced and a new gas pedal. This car has not been to detailing as of yet.
That being said this is a fabulous car looking for a new home. Clean title. $6500 and as always prices are negotiable.

This is a 7th Generation 1978 Ford Ranchero. She had one owner prior to us uncovering her in a barn. She runs and drives great and will turn heads going down the road. Has a strong 351 engine, good tires, new battery, no rust, clean title. Seats have average wear and new carpeting is on the way from our distributor. This is how good she looks without even going through our detail department, imagine how great she will look then! $6500 and as always prices are negotiable.
