Ive started to install new brass choke bushings in all my restored Solex PICT series carburetors, you can see it behind the choke cam. Many of the old ones wear down and also wear the carburetor body, this causes the choke to become sloppy and sometimes bind, so I ream the body and insert a new over-sized bushing. This brings back the smooth operation of the choke.
