🔧 Another One Back Up and Running! 🔧

We got a call from a customer with a 2014 Ram Cummins equipped with a 47RE transmission swap. He needed the kickdown band and low/reverse band adjusted, along with a new A/C compressor and serpentine belt after his original compressor locked up.

🛠️ Here’s what we got done:
✅ Drained the transmission fluid and dropped the pan
✅ Replaced the transmission filter and fluid
✅ Adjusted the kickdown band and low/reverse band
✅ Set the transmission fluid to the correct level
✅ Replaced the seized A/C compressor
✅ Installed a new serpentine belt

Another job done right and another customer back up and running! 💪

🔧 Another wiring issue fixed and back to work! 🔧

A customer called us about a skid steer attachment that had its control wires ripped out on the job site. The wiring had been put back together, but the controls were all backwards and several functions were not working correctly.

We pulled the wiring back apart, traced each circuit, and got all the control wires properly reconnected. 💪

Everything is now functioning exactly as it should and this attachment is back to work!

Electrical and diagnostic issues can be frustrating, but we’ll take the time to properly trace the problem and get it fixed right.

🔧 Two Mack’s fixed up and ready to roll! 🚛💨

We got these two Mack trucks taken care of for a great customer of ours!

🔴 Truck #1:
The truck was coming up with a red STOP ENGINE light and going into derate. After diagnosing the issue, we found codes for the piston oil cooling pressure sensor and the engine oil thermostat bypass valve. We got the issues addressed and got the truck back up and running properly.

💡 Truck #2:
This truck had no running lights on the body. We found a faulty running light switch causing the issue. Once we got the lights working, we also found a missing body light and a partially failed taillight. We took care of those issues as well.

Both trucks are now fixed up and ready to get back to work down the road! 💪

🚛 Another trailer back to work! 🔧

This customer called us out for air line issues and landing gear that wouldn’t go up on their Kraftsman trailer.

We got right to work and found several issues causing problems. We installed new bulkhead fittings for the service and emergency brake lines and found water inside the controller for the electric-over-hydraulic landing gear.

We also discovered that one of the landing gear legs was out of adjustment, causing the landing gear to operate unevenly.

We got everything repaired, adjusted, and working properly — another customer back to work and back on the road! 💪

🌧️ Rain or shine, we’re on the job! 🔧🚗

This customer’s Infiniti had the red brake warning light come on and needed some attention. After a full inspection, we found that all four brakes were worn low and needed replacement.

While replacing the brakes, we also discovered loose front outer tie rod ends. We replaced the outer tie rods along with the brakes and got this customer safely back on the road! 💪

⚠️ Remember: We always recommend getting an alignment after replacing steering components to ensure proper handling and prevent uneven tire wear.

Customer requested we come out to his Dodge Ram pickup to take care of some much-needed brake and suspension work.

We replaced:

🚨 Another emergency call handled by Bickford's Diesel Tech! 🚨

We got an emergency call for this 2016 Isuzu box truck that was stranded at a customer's house with a crank, no-start condition.

We responded on short notice and quickly diagnosed the issue. We found the fuel line had ripped off the top of the fuel tank, and the fuel level sending unit had broken loose. We were able to securely reconnect the fuel line, prime the fuel system, and get the truck fired up and back on the road the same day.

Now we're back to complete the repair the right way by replacing the fuel tank level sending unit and securing the fuel line with a new clamp to ensure a reliable, long-lasting fix.

🚛 Another Truck Back on the Road! 🔧

This customer had this truck sitting for 2 years with a fuel pressure issue that no one could figure out.

He gave Bickford's Diesel Tech a call, and we came directly to his location to diagnose the problem on-site.

After a complete diagnostic, we found erratic fuel pressure codes along with multiple injector fault codes. Through testing, we narrowed the issue down to two faulty fuel injectors that were out of spec.

✅ Replaced injectors on cylinders #2 and #6
✅ Cleared all fault codes
✅ Verified proper operation

Now this truck is back on the road where it belongs, making the customer money again!
