Who are we?! How did you get into dumpster?

My name is Nick Callahan I was born and raised on cape cod I grew up in Dennis. Growing up my father owned a tree & irrigation business which meant we’d always be out doing something work related, meeting with customers, going over jobs, doing maintenance on the equipment etc. little did I know those days would set me up to build the foundation I’d need to one day run my own business. I learned the importance of picking up the phone and being on time.

After about 13 years in the tree industry I was on a job where an employee had an accident involving a wood chipper which would result in him loosing his leg after it went through the wood chipper. Fair to say that was my last week doing tree work. I started looking for a new job and ended up becoming a full time driver for UPS. UPS was great until Covid 19 than we where Christmas time busy 24/7 and with a new born on the way I knew that wouldn’t last forever. I ended up apply to mid cape home centers in Dennis and got a job as a deliver driver where I was able to be on job sites meeting the contractors building relationships and delivering material. During my time at mid cape home centers a local dumpster company had sold to a company out of state and I started to notice alot of dumpsters on job sites over flowing and jobs coming to a slow down because of the dumpster situation.

At that moment a light went off, I had a 6x12 dump trailer and I started telling contractors I would come clean up jobs sites or rent the trailer to them for a weekly rate. After about a year of staying busy I went to buy a second trailer to make some extra side money after work, while there I saw the dumpster set up with 2 dumpsters and decided to roll the dice. I’d be working my full time job and moving dumpsters after work. 2 dumpsters turned to 4 turned to 6 turned to 10. I got to the point where I was able to put in my two week at mid cape and took a chance on myself. Today we run 20 dumpsters, but the coolest part of it all is I get to take my kids with me and teach them everything my dad showed me. I’m grateful I get to serve the community I grew up in and help make a difference! If you ever need a dumpster let’s talk we have over 100 five ⭐️ reviews and we are still growing!
