Early spring brings one thing with it every year — potholes.

We start seeing the effects almost immediately. Slow leaks that weren’t there before. Tires that suddenly won’t hold pressure. Occasionally a wheel rim that took a harder hit than expected.

Most of the time, the issue isn’t dramatic — it’s subtle at first. But catching it early prevents bigger inconvenience later.

If you know you hit a pothole that made you wince, or you've found yourself adding air more than once since the snow melted, it usually a sign something is going on.

Inspections tend to follow a pretty consistent rhythm throughout the month. This is usually where the month starts to feel like it’s moving along a little more quickly.

If your inspection sticker expires in March, there’s still time to take care of it before the end of the month comes up.

It’s one of those things that’s easier to handle before the month gets away from you — and one less thing to think about once it’s done.

When someone takes the time to leave a thoughtful review, we read every word.

For a small, family-run shop, referrals and reputation have always mattered more than advertising. Most new customers walk through our doors because someone they trust recommended us.

Hearing that kind of feedback never gets old — It means a lot when neighbors take a moment to share their experience.

Every spring there's a moment when Yardley starts to wake up again. The sun hangs around a little longer and neighbors are back outside walking along the canal — even the ducks seem to know the season is changing.

Around here we know those warm stretches in March don't always last, but they're a good reminder that spring is on the way! We're always grateful to be part of life here in Yardley Borough.

Every March, we get at least one stretch of false spring — the kind that makes you consider putting the winter coat away a little too soon.

That back-and-forth affects tire pressure more than most drivers realize. As temperatures shift, the air inside your tires expands and contracts with it.

It’s a small thing to check, but small things are often what keep a vehicle driving the way it should. Our air is free and located right out front, and if you’re unsure where to start, just ask — our gas attendants and technicians are happy to help.

The shift into spring always feels good around here. Windows down, fewer layers, and more daylight.

It’s also when we start seeing vehicles that haven’t quite adjusted to the change in season yet. Tire pressure fluctuates, alignments feel slightly off after a winter of potholes, and fluids that worked hard all winter deserve a look.

This time of year isn’t about big repairs. It’s about small adjustments that keep everything running the way it should as we head into warmer months.

At the end of every month, we see the same pattern — inspection appointments start stacking up during the final week.

If your sticker expires in March, the beginning or middle of the month is usually a little calmer. And if you’re due in April or May, inspections can be completed up to 90 days early while keeping the same expiration month.

Spreading things out a little can make the whole process feel much simpler.

Vehicle ownership doesn’t need to feel stressful. A little timing goes a long way.

We know car repairs don’t always fit neatly into your schedule.

That’s why we offer conveniences like loaner vehicles and flexible drop-off options — so you can keep your day moving while we take care of your car.

It's just one of the ways we try to make auto repair a little easier — because taking care of your vehicle shouldn't mean rearranging your entire day.

If your PA State Inspection sticker expires in March or April, February is a great time to take care of it early.

Getting your vehicle inspected ahead of time gives you flexibility. If repairs are needed, it allows time to schedule the work, plan for unexpected costs, and handle everything on your own timeline — not at the last minute.

And most importantly: getting inspected early does not change your sticker month. An April inspection completed in February still receives an April sticker, valid through the end of April next year.

This applies year-round, too — inspections can be completed up to three months early, including the month shown on your sticker.

If you’re unsure when your sticker expires or whether early inspection applies to you, give us a call or stop by — we’re always happy to help.
