Steve's Antique Auto Repair Inc We work on cars 1972 and earlier. We do everything from basic maintenance,engine work to full restor Steve's Antique Auto Repair, Inc.

specializes in repairs and restoration of vehicles 1972 and older, we also have a full engine rebuilding facility which includes babbitt bearings. We are a licensed auto repair facility in the State of Michigan and are all certified mechanics in the State of Michigan. Our garage keepers insurance is provided by Hagerty Insurance.

We have had several unrestored original “Survivor” cars come through the shop lately including this 1951 Chevy Convertible that we rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the battery cables with the correct ones for a 6 volt system and repaired the fuel gauge.

I got a call last week from Jay Burbank, he was traveling from Pennsylvania to California in his Model A Ford and blew a head gasket. He wasn’t very far from the shop, so we got the car in and replaced the head gasket for him. While he was here he told us the story of why he owned the Model A and how he used it to honor US veterans all over the country and the world, he had travelled all over the US and Canada even putting the wheels in the Arctic Ocean. He graciously asked my manger John, a US Army veteran to sign the car and I was only the second non veteran asked to sign the car in honor of my Dad, the car has over 1300 signatures on it.

Our first Thursday night swap meet was a success, lots of vendors and a fair amount of spectators. We will be doing them...
