Just another example of why you cannot take your vehicle to any person with a tool box off the streets. Legit mobile mechanics are amazing and a great resource but please make sure they are legit and know what they are doing.
This customer came in after having brakes replaced. A so called mechanic told her she need a control arm in the rear. We took a look at it and found the noise to be that the flex hose for the brakes was put on incorrectly. Causing it to rub on the inside of the rim. Thankfully we caught it in time before it damaged the hose.
Had this customer listened to the person off the streets they would have spent a few hundred on a repair that was not needed. Still had a noise and would have most likely damaged the flex hose. Had they also taken it to us or a legit mobile mechanic in the first place this most likely would have never happened.

Hope everyone has had a great Saturday. We spent our Saturday evening feeding and petting a fish that we have given the name Fred. I don’t know who was more excited me or the kids. (Also if you listen closely in the video you can hear our youngest ticing away. As he has Tourette’s.

Tip of the day. Simple trick. Saves your hand from getting coolant on it or having to find something to break the seal.

Edit: this is clearly not for you know it all guys who never need a trick to make something a little quicker. This is for the ones who have never done this or seen it done. We get our coolant in bulk but I watched an older gentle men struggle to open one. So I showed him this. So next time if someone wasn’t around he could easily open his coolant. (Of course I helped fill his coolant as well)

We need our communities help and for social media to do its thing.
The month of October we are donating 10% of our profits to one of our long time customers Randy Wilder and Vanessa McDonald-Wilder They have not only supported our business but also our community. They are raising their grandkids. While life has not always been easy for them they still give back to those in need. They are constantly giving to our pantry at the shop to help feed those in need while they are in need themselves.
Vanessa needs a kidney transplant. So we have decided we want to give back to them and help them during this time. They did not ask for this and did not know we were doing this.
With that being said we want this to be our busiest month so we can give them as much as possible. If they are comfortable with it we will keep a running total of what we are able to raise in donations to update our community.

Damian is still on his own with life this week. He’s making sure I rest and heal. Being a real pain in my neck but I love him for it.
That being said he left the keys to the shop at home while trying to get the kids out the door. He is heading back to the shop now. So there will be a little delay in opening. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
