We are looking for “EXPERIENCED vehicle installers” to come join our growing team. A solid work history is a must, so job hoppers, or if you have excessive absenteeism, you need not apply. You will be working in a building with frequent standing, twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing around metal fabricated parts, equipment and machinery. The job does require frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 100 pounds. Pay scale is according to capabilities of your experience. Background checks will be given and evaluated on a case by case basis. To be the best, we must hire the best!
WHAT WE DO
JP&E is a high-volume shop that upfits commercial vehicles for dealerships and retail customers. Some of our upfits include van shelving, ladder racks, flatbeds, service bodies, liftgates, VMAC air compressors and many more products. We are locally owned with an upstanding reputation in the industry since opening 20 years ago.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1+ years of verifiable experience in automotive installation/upfitting
· Certifications on a case by case basis
· Must have own tools
· Be dependable to work 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
· Have stable work history with no excessive tardiness or absences
· Must work well with other team members
· Pass background check (on a case by case basis, we believe in second chances!)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accurately read job orders and effectively do job procedures on customers’ work vehicles
· Document work performed
· Securely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment
· Disassembly and proper reassembly of vehicles exterior parts and interior panels
· Responsible for testing installed parts to meet company standards prior to inspection
· Troubleshooting and self-diagnosing installations not yet ready for inspection
· Verifying all line items on orders have been completed on work order prior to inspection
· Disassembly external engine components such as pullies, pumps alternators etc. and reassemble with aftermarket parts
· Meet expected job productivity in a timely manner
· Help keep work area clean and hazard free

· Employees can enroll in life, accidental, cancer, or intensive hospital plans * After your 90-day probationary period, you will receive paid holidays on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
· After 90-Days paid time off is accrued at 1 week per year.
· Employees receive additional day off each calendar year when employed from January 1st-December 31st with no cap on additional day off. Stay here 10 years, get an extra 10 paid days off that next year!
