The garage opened as a Chrysler Plymouth dealership in 1934 and has been open since. In 1936 it became Steele's Garage and remained that way until 1972 when it became Steele's Automotive. The garage underwent major renovations in 1988 when it also became a body shop. The body shop was closed to concentrate more on the auto repair side.
