Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11th and the countless families, first responders, and survivors whose strength continues to inspire us. Twenty‑five years later, the memories of that morning remain vivid, a reminder of how quickly ordinary moments can become history.
We remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken, the bravery shown in stairwells and streets, and the quiet heroism of people helping one another through fear and uncertainty. In the days that followed, our nation came together with compassion, unity, and resilience that still defines us.
As we reflect, we honor those we lost, those who served, and those who continue to carry the weight of that day. May this day remind us to live gently, to love fiercely, and to never take for granted the simple gift of another sunrise. May we continue to choose compassion over division, hope over fear, and humanity over hatred.
We remember.
We still grieve.
We still stand.
"When Americans lend a hand to one another, nothing is impossible. We're not about what happened on 9/11. We're about what happened on 9/12." - Jeff Parness
