Of every Mustang on this list, the Terminator is the one we’d take.

The 2003 and 2004 Terminator ran a supercharged 4.6L DOHC V8, rated at 390 horsepower and offered with a six-speed manual only. Shelby got to a supercharged Mustang first with a Paxton blower on the 1966 GT350, but that one was a dealer-installed option and only 11 cars ever got it. The Terminator was the first supercharged Mustang you could walk into a dealership and actually buy.

SVT also gave it an independent rear suspension while the GT parked next to it on the same showroom floor was still riding on a live axle. Same generation, same nameplate, two completely different cars underneath.

Black on black is the easiest color combo to get wrong, and this 2014 Mustang gets it right. 🖤

Fifteen52 Formula GT in 20x10 +35mm at all four corners, wrapped in Lexani LX-Twenty 245/35R20. Offset is how far the wheel sits in or out from true center, and +35mm alone wouldn’t do this.

The 10 inches of width is what pushes the lip out toward the fender, which is why it still tucks up front instead of sitting flush.

The 245mm of section width stretched over a ten inch wheel is what pulls the sidewall in tight enough for that to work without eating fender.

Air Lift Performance keeps it usable. It can sit on the concrete for a photo and lift back up enough for the splitter to clear a driveway on the way home. 🔥

This 86 turns heads sitting still.

The color alone draws your attention, but the wing and widebody really makes you stop and stare. Underneath, the polished three-piece SSR Professor SP5s sit deep in the flares, 18x9.5 +14mm front and 18x11.5 +32mm rear, wrapped in Federal SS595s and laid out on Air Lift Performance.


The setup:

Wheels: SSR Professor SP5, 18x9.5 +14mm front, 18x11.5 +32mm rear

Tires: Federal SS595, 225/35 front, 275/35 rear

Suspension: Air Lift Performance

We’re keeping the left side, and it was closer than we expected. 👀

The left side is racing heritage. The Pulsar GTI-R only exists because Group A rally rules required road cars, Subaru was still in WRC while the ‘06 STI sat on dealer lots, and Mazda put the FD into production the same year the 787B won Le Mans.

The right side is the other kind of legacy. The NSX rewrote what a supercar was allowed to be, and the DC2 set the standard every Type R since has been measured against.

The Braum Elite-X gets around that with a handle recline. High bolsters that hold you through a corner, then back for the drive home.

This isn’t your average Honda.

Somebody dropped a supercharger under the hood, giving this S2000 way more power than it ever came with from the factory. The whole bay matches the effort. Hand made panels, an upgraded intercooler, custom paint, and every bolt swapped for gold titanium hardware.

The wheels aren’t subtle, but the face is. Tapered five-spoke, flat across, polished lip, gold hardware around the barrel, and a gold H sitting in the center where a wheel brand cap would normally go. Look at the face by itself and you could talk yourself into it being factory. The sizes end that argument fast. This car came from the factory on 16x7.5 +65mm out back and it’s now on 18x11 +20mm rear with 18x10 +22mm up front, which is why there are wide fenders covering it.

Then there’s the trunk. The air suspension setup can speak for itself, but talk about insane quality here.
