Once again, the wonderful people of Wrightstown have made our hearts full and our days a little brighter. The turnout at the car show last Saturday was more than we expected. 54 beautiful cars lined up along the Fox River, with a whole slew of smiling faces in tow. We can't thank everyone enough for showing up, planning this event, taking time to honor my dad before the awards were announced, and rallying together to make sure we walked away with the coveted Golden Spark Plug trophy. What's more, the event raised $710 for the Gary Sinise Foundation. We love this little town and we can't wait to see you all again next year!

The Wrightstown Fall Festival is tomorrow and we are SO ready to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather down by the Fox River. As part of the event, a car show will be held at the Mueller Park boat landing from 11-2. Proceeds from the car show will be donated in my dad's honor to the Gary Sinise Foundation. This foundation supports programs for military service members and first responders. My dad's '67 GTO and '67 AMC Ambassador Wagon will be down there and I sure hope we have them glistening to his standards.

A huge thank you to the organizers of this event for thinking of us and for recognizing my dad in this way. It really means a lot!

It's taken over a month to figure out how to write this post because I couldn't come up with a way to approach it professionally. Today I realized, situations like these deserve candidness. As many of you know, my dad and owner of Ade Automotive (Tim Ade) passed away last month. It's been an absolute nightmare and we are still trying to heal. Luckily, my dad instilled a sense of resiliency in me and in this business. After a short hiatus, we are now open and taking appointments. Thank you to everyone who has extended condolences, stopped in to check on us, ventured around the counter to hug me, mowed our lawn, and were patient with us while we navigated the fog of grief. So many of you are much more than customers to me and I'll never forget your kindness. Now let's honor my dad and keep this thing rolling just a little bit longer.

The perks our military heroes receive are so small in comparison to the sacrifices they make. This was certainly a long overdue one.

Thank you veterans. We appreciate you on this special day and EVERY DAY.

Former service members and families of those killed on active duty will have "free access to the iconic and treasured lands they fought to protect."

Hello everyone! I'll keep this short, as I'm sure you're all already overloaded with information lately. Under the "Safer at Home" order, automotive repair shops are considered essential, so Ade Automotive will remain open for business as usual. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the shop or send a message here.

Most importantly, stay safe out there...and please leave a comment with your cute pet photos to boost morale. Bonus points for pet + vehicle photos!

The '96 F-250 featured in this video is a fine example of how a little routine, basic maintenance can get you a lot of life from your vehicle, especially if there is a reliable and durable powerplant under the hood.
