White on white is the hardest look to pull off, and this Civic makes it look easy.

The Kenzo runs seven split spokes from the center cap out to the lip. White is the finish that punishes a busy design and rewards a simple one, so this is the pairing the wheel was drawn for. Rotary Forged isn't a buzzword. Rotary forging is how we're able to make wheels that are lighter and stronger than traditional cast wheels, and more affordable than forged wheels.

The teal lugs are the only color anywhere on the car, and on a build this monochrome that's all the contrast you need.

Teal is a harder color to pull off than it looks 🔥

This is a custom color the owner had done for his Supra, so it's not one you'll find on our Elders. Directional face with real concavity too.

Red calipers add contrast against the teal, and the car looks great aired out with the Elders tucked in the fenders.

A 10.5 inch wide wheel isn't something you see on a stock body WRX.

That width usually lives under a widebody car with flares doing the covering, not a chassis that left the factory on an 18x8.5 +55mm wheel. This VB WRX is on 18x10.5 +22mm Anovia Kano wheels, and two full inches of extra wheel has to go somewhere. None of it goes there quietly.

Getting there takes more than bolting them on. Camber has to be dialed in so the top of the tire tucks back under the fender, the fender liners get trimmed so nothing catches at full lock, and the Air Lift Performance setup lets the ride height come up when the road stops cooperating.

225/40 Lionharts stretched to fit, and the hardware got picked to match the paint.

Three spokes is a deliberate style choice.

Nobody lands on a three spoke by accident. You go looking for one, and the Treble in chrome is that same decision made twice, because chrome isn't what a chassis this new rolls off the lot wearing either. A throwback spoke count and a throwback finish on a 2022 platform. That collision of eras works here because the 86 is one itself. Toyota took a formula from the 80s and put it on a modern chassis, and the Treble is the wheel that says so out loud.

It's hard to think of a better blank canvas than a Miata. It has always been lightweight and timeless, happy to go wherever its owner points it, which is a big part of why it stays such a rewarding car to build.

That leaves one fun question worth sitting with.

The spokes on the Kano never bend, taper, or split.

That was deliberate. The name comes from a school of Japanese painting built on the balance between bold strokes and open ground, and a dead straight spoke is the cleanest way to say the same thing.

Each one reads as a single line from hub to lip, which keeps the space between them open and accents the body lines of your car without taking attention away from the rest of the build. Rotary Forged construction adds strength while pulling weight out.

The Titan was drawn for cars exactly like this.

A six-spoke shape tailored to the sport coupe, Rotary Forged for real strength without the extra weight, with the room behind it for a serious brake setup. Drop it under a FR-S and the Deco Directional look flows with the body lines perfectly.

How would you rate this FR-S on Titans, one to ten? 🤔

Chrome is one of those finishes that never gets a shrug. People either hate it or they love it, and we're firmly in the second camp.

A build like this VA WRX is exactly why. The Kano's mirror finish gives the black paint something to react to, and because chrome picks up everything around it, the wheels change character in every shot of this edit even when the car doesn't move. Bronze and gunmetal are the safe picks on this platform for a reason, but when was the safe pick ever the fun one?

So settle it for us, is chrome overdue for a comeback or does it still belong in 2005?
