Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc We are a family owned and operated business looking to help the handicapped maintain their independence with a variety of adaptive equipment and products.

Columbus Mobility Specialists in Worthington Ohio installs and maintains home and vehicle mobility aids for the handicapped, disabled and elderly throughout Ohio. Manufacturer certified Columbus Mobility Specialists can take care of your home needs with a stairway lift. Custom installation of either a straight or curved stairway lift can give you back the independent living you are used to. For vehicles, we offer a wide variety of mobility equipment solutions, including new and used lowered floor vans and mini-vans. Are you in a wheelchair, but need to be able to drive? By choosing from electronic wheelchair tie downs, lowered floor mini-van modifications, electronic gas and brake controls, and adaptive driving hand controls (left hand controls or right hand controls), Columbus Mobility Specialists can find a mobility product combination to safely give you the freedom and control you want. Of course, having a modified vehicle doesn't help if it isn't running, so Columbus Mobility Specialists offers regular auto maintenance and repair service to keep you on the road. Whether it's engine related, electrical, or mechanical, we'll get you back on the road. If it's not running, we can even arrange towing service.

Our Hunter gained his wings last Sunday. If you have ever been to our shop you know he was always happy to see everyone - especially if you had treats 😉 The shop and our home will not be the same! His fur-brothers Riley & Tony are missing him something fierce. Let us know if you have any Hunter memories

By Edna Clyne-Rekhy:

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, your pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and strength, those who were hurt are made better and strong again, like we remember them before they go to heaven. They are happy and content except for one small thing—they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are shining, his body shakes. Suddenly he begins to run from the herd, rushing over the grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cuddle in a happy hug never to be apart again. You and your pet are in tears. Your hands again cuddle his head and you look again into his trusting eyes, so long gone from life, but never absent from your heart, and then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
