Well it’s happened. After almost 20 years of wrenching, Slim has come across his first grid heater bolt motor loss! This poor Cummins didn’t even make it to 90k miles.

Nothing to see here… 😅 came in for a simple leaking pinion, now it’s on lock down until new spring shackles come in. Safety first!

It’s a good day to be inside! Today Nicole is rolling through leaking Cummins valve covers, Slim is upgrading a dirtymax with some fresh exhaust, and we’ve got a 2nd gen Cummins about ready to go back together when the last of the parts roll in today.

Stay warm and stay dry today! And remember to thank a farmer! We have a front row seat watching them drive those harvests in!

But the boss man and kiddos took advantage of needing a break and filled their turkey tags! Thank you to some of our wonderful ranch customers who let our kids come out and chase some birds!

Lots of tear down for this… a cracked EGR cooler. Now to get this sweet little snow bird back up and running so she can get on the highway before the snow flies!

It’s been raining Powerstroke problems in this shop… Nicole is tearing down a 6.0 for diag. Slim is waiting on parts for one 6.7 that’s been fighting him tooth and nail all week and is playing diag on another 6.7 too. Wish us luck!
