Our 2026 Hometown Hero: Ciji Hernandez

This year, we are honored to recognize Ciji Hernandez as our Hometown Hero.

Ciji is a proud former member of the United States military and a beloved part of the Worland community. Known for her vibrant personality, love of motorcycles, and the genuine joy she brings to those around her, Ciji has always been someone people are drawn to—someone who shows up for others and makes a lasting impact.

Recently, Ciji faced an unimaginable challenge. While battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS), she experienced a severe medical complication following a treatment that left her temporarily paralyzed. Since then, she has shown incredible strength and determination in her recovery. Through ongoing physical therapy, Ciji is working tirelessly to regain her ability to walk, speak, and return to the life she loves.

Now back home in Worland, she continues to inspire everyone around her with her resilience, positivity, and unwavering spirit. Her journey is far from easy, but her determination is a powerful reminder of what true courage looks like.

This year’s raffle is dedicated to supporting Ciji as she continues her recovery. With the help of our community, we aim to ease the financial burden of medical care and rehabilitation, allowing her to focus on healing and rebuilding.

Ciji Hernandez is more than our Hometown Hero—she is a fighter, a friend, and a true example of strength in the face of adversity.
