Self-entitlement is getting out of control.

Day 1: Someone comes in looking to have work done. I politely explain we're booked until next week. Twenty minutes later, I find them in my parking lot with their car jacked up, working on it themselves. When I ask them to leave, somehow I'm the jerk.

Day 2: A customer pulls in, the passenger walks into the shop, lights a cigarette, and starts smoking. We have flammable materials everywhere, so I tell them there's no smoking in the shop. Once again, I'm the jerk.

Later that same day, someone walks through the garage asking for an oil change. I explain we're fully booked but would be happy to schedule them for next week. Instead of leaving through the front office, they try to walk back through the shop. I ask them to use the front door because customers aren't allowed in the shop due to insurance and safety policies.

You guessed it... I'm the jerk again.

Apparently, enforcing safety rules, respecting schedules, and protecting my employees and customers makes me the bad guy. We don't make these rules to be difficult—we make them to keep everyone safe and to run a professional business.

I guess I hit the trifecta.

Henri's will be closed on Friday July 3rd in observance of this Nations 250th Birthday .. We will return to regular Business hours on Monday July 6th at 8 am

Under Rhode Island General Law (RIGL § 31-6-1), owners of electric and hybrid vehicles must pay an annual fuel source fee in addition to standard vehicle registration and DOT surcharge fees. This ranges from $50 to $200 per year, depending on the specific type of electric or hybrid vehicle.

The specific annual registration fees are structured as follows:
Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV): $200 annually
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV): $100 annually
Hybrid Vehicles (non-plug-in): $50 annually

That is per year, your registration cycle is two years so it is double the amount shown, every time you Re-Register your car. But we must go green by 2030 why ? Excess fees, you decide?

Henri's will be closed for Memorial day so we may Honor those who gave everything so we could live our lives freely. God bless you all and may you have a safe and happy Memorial day weekend.

We recently received a review that contained incorrect information. We have since reached out to clarify the situation and explain why the review was inaccurate. In the future, we kindly encourage customers to contact us directly first so we can address any concerns promptly before a negative review is posted. Thank You Bill….Update we appreciate the responses from everyone it shows we took the right path , unfortunately the poster did not extend an apology for their error , which is i guess the new normal….make accusations and move on no matter what damage they cause.
