Drive4Life Driving Academy, LLC offers a Teen/Adult Driving Course, Behind-the-Wheel Training, DMV Permit Test and DMV Road Test.

Todd Knight, owner of D4L Driving Academy, LLC, started off working 7+ years in law enforcement; especially handling traffic violations, DUIs, and more. He witnessed people get hurt each day from unsafe driving. He felt the need to help teach teens and adults how to drive safely. The Teen/Adult Driving Course (REQUIRED for age 15- & 16-year-olds) includes the DMV Permit Test (if needed), one (1) eight-hour Classroom Portion (in the D4L classroom), six (6) hours of Behind-the-Wheel Instruction and the DMV Road Test. Once the teen has held his/her Permit for at least 181 days, they are eligible to take the DMV Road Test. The Classroom Portion consists of instruction from one of our Certified Driving Instructors, videos on the dangers of drunk/distracted (texting) driving, and an opportunity to test their skills with the “drunk goggles.” These specialty goggles simulate how the motor skills of an individual with various B.A.C. (blood alcohol concentration) would be without having the alcohol affect their brain. Behind-the-Wheel Instruction is one-on-one with one of our Certified Driving Instructors and conducted in two (2) three (3)-hour sessions. These sessions will be scheduled during Driving Class. Pizza is provided for all students for lunch, but students are welcome to bring their own. Everything else is provided for students.
