The Port welcomes Woodland to Austin Point this 4th of July! Here are a few tips to make sure everyone has a fun and safe day. The recreation area will remain open until midnight on both July 3rd and July 4th. However, the boat launch will close at noon on July 3rd and won't reopen until Monday morning. Fires are not allowed, nor is camping and the wetland area is accessible by walk-in only. Be a good neighbor and use the garbage cans for all disposal. On the 4th, be on the lookout for the Port of Woodland team onsite between 11am and 2pm. Be safe and have a great 250, America!

The Port of Woodland was happy to host the Washington State Transportation Commission on a tour of all three Cowlitz County Port Districts. The Port showcased port facilities, including the highlighting unique transportation challenges we face here in Woodland. Special thanks to WSDOT, City of Woodland and Cowlitz County for your role in bringing important infrastructure and project level detail to the tour! Thanks to the Commissions and staff for spending the day with us in Cowlitz County!

We want to connect you to high-speed internet!

The Port of Woodland is currently applying for additional funding that would allow us to connect more homes to our existing fiber optic network, currently operational between Ariel and Cougar. You are receiving this postcard because our records indicate your home or business is either new or you were not connected to broadband during our previous Ariel to Cougar project. We want to get you connected!

If you are not yet connected and want to be, please go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DarkFiber and fill out the information requested. If we are awarded funding, we will contact you with more information about the project and when we will proceed with connecting your neighborhood! The survey is also available at the port’s website, www.portofwoodland.com/darkfiber.
