WOODHULL RACEWAY SEASON FINALE FEATURE WINNERS INCLUDE IN DAYTON BREWER IN MODIFIEDS, KYLE LEACH TAKES FIRST CRATE SPORTSMAN, BRETT MARLATT IN RUSH CRATE LATE MODELS. THEY ARE JOINED BY IN MIKE SPENCER IN STREET STOCKS, BRANDON CONKLIN CLAIMS HOBBY STOCK FEATURE WITH TREVOR PUTT TAKING HOME QUAD C HONORS.
Brewer Boys Tents, Tables and Chairs Rentals along with Addison Eagles sponsored the September 26 event.

(Woodhull, NY) It was the final night of race action at the Woodhull Raceway on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as track owners Nikki and Terry Brewer brought down the curtain on their seventh year as promoters of the Historic Steuben County Oval.
With cold temps and the threat of rain in the offing the track made the early decision to start one hour earlier than scheduled and similar to what have done countless times throughout the year the show began in a timely manner and kept moving along and completed in record time.
The Insinger Performance Modifieds ran in their traditional twenty-five lap feature which was the first main event of the nightly program.
By luck of the draw Dayton Brewer of Woodhull would start on the pole position and lead the field to the opening green flag for the division’s twenty-five lap feature.
Brewer, who came into the night as the recently crowned 2026 Woodhull Modified Track Champion was on a hot streak winning four of the past eight feature events and he was not going to be denied another trip to victory lane of this night as he opened up an insurmountable advantage over the rest of the field and made it look relatively easy in winning feature eight on the season.
In the caution free feature Brian Doolittle of Beaver Dams was holding on for second place but he was overhauled by three time 2026 feature winner, Aiden Grover of Corning just prior to the halfway mark and without any caution flags to help his case Grover was able to get withing five or six car lengths of Brewer at the Double Checkered Flags as the pair would finish ahead of Doolittle who would complete the podium.
Brady Fultz piloting one of a pair of Herbie Wright owned machine slugged it out with Donnie Lawson who was in the second Wright machine as the duo would go at it for over half the distance before Fultz was able to clear and go on to finish fourth.
Jason Andrews of Leighton, Pa was able to hold on for fifth after riding in fourth for most of the event.
In Hometown Excavation Crate Sportsman twenty-five lap feature action it was second verse same as the first as Kyle Leach of Canisteo was able to lead from start to finish like the performance of Dayton Brewer in the nights second green to checkered flag feature event.
Leach started on pole and led the entire distance in route to his first CS feature event victory, however the final five laps found up and coming third gen pilot Braylon Lawson of Addison all over Leach like bees on a hive as he tried everything in the book to find a way around Leach but could not do it and had to settle for a well-deserved runner-up finish after lining up along side Leach in the front starting row.
Josh Nobriga lined up third on the starting grid and the veteran Lindley, NY speedster would maintain his position throughout the entire distance in claiming third.
Relatives Stacy Jackson of Woodhull and Tim Guild of Rathbone would round out the top five finishers.
The Southern Tier Customs were next in the batting order as John Waters of Whitesville and Addison’s Marshall O’Brian would lead the charge into turn one with Waters getting the jump and leading through most of the twenty-lap feature.
However, you can never count Canisteo’s Brett Marlatt from any feature win as he would make some nifty moves disposing first of O’Brian then Waters to go on and pick up his seventh RUSH CLM feature win of the season at Woodhull.
A disappointed John Waters would go on to nail second with O’Brian holding on to complete the podium.
Entering the night both Waters and O’Brian had one feature win each.
Waters teammate piloting the second Dale LeBarron owned Troupscreek Auto RUSH CLM, Steve LeBarrron was able to finish fourth after he entered the event with three feature wins racked up during the 2026 campaign.
On again, off again Corning pilot and former Track Champion, Brian Knowles would go on to complete the top five.
Like the Modifieds and Crate Sportsman the Southern Tier Customs RUSH CLM twenty-lap feature was also run caution free.
Joe Willcox Performance Street Stocks were on track for their twenty-lap feature as the field was led to green by Hornell’s Mike Spencer who drew pole position joined there by Beaver Dams veteran Jim Buck.
Spencer would show the way the entire distance in claiming his first feature win in 2026 as he was chased across the line by Stock Car Willie, Mike Williams of Woodhull and for the grandson of the Woodhull Raceway’s founding father, George Williams it was his best finish of the season.
Buck would drift to third at the finish as he was followed by Sherman Gage and Sean Philby who completed the top five.
The extremely popular Ken’s Auto Hobby Stocks were next to try and tame the High Banked One-Third of a Mile Oval with Canisteo’s Cannon Palmer joining Savona veteran Brian Austin on the front row.
At the drop of the opening green recently crowned HS Track Champ, Brandon Conklin of Campbell flexed his muscle and immediately jumped into the lead from his inside row two starting spot and from there he would lead all twenty-laps in claiming win number four on the season.
Austin entered the night with four wins of his own and was looking to finish out the season with a victory, but he would have to settle for second after completely changing a crank shaft damper pulley between heat and feature competition. No easy task.
Chasing Conklin and Austin across the line was Corning’s Greg Young who advanced from starting position five as he would step onto the final rung of the top three podium finishers.
Fourth and fifth went to High School Student Cannon Palmer of Hornell and Issac Byler of Addison who was making his first start of 2026 piloting the Mike Carapella machine.
Final twenty-lap feature of the night as well as the 2026 season was the Lowery Family Farms Quad C Mini Stocks as a pair of Keystone State Drivers in Dan Gardner of Osceola and Kolton George of Renovo would lead the charge into turn one with Gardner coming out as the race leader.
The first of three caution flags would wave on lap twelve and that would be Gardners demise as he would drift back to as far as fifth spot handing the lead over to Trever Putt of Olean who was able to keep safe distance between himself and the rest of the field as he would go on to claiming his first ever feature at Woodhull.
Finishing second was multi time Woodhull Mini Stock Track Champion Wesley Houghtaling as he drove from the last place starting slot with Hunter Flook of Avis, Pa finishing third.
Flook was chased across the line by Gardner who recovered to nail down fourth with Sherman Gage completing the top give.

Attention Race Fans!!!!! Tomorrow's racing on September 26th will start an hour early. Due to cooler temperatures in the evening, we are going to throw the green flag at 5:30 pm.
