We love our original cars. Who doesn't when it comes to these timeless vehicles. But when you are taking a look at these beautiful 1969 Mustang. Well you have to admit when the original V8 monster froze you have to admit at least the car was treated well. The new power plant you see in the photos is a modern era Cobra Jet. All the documented needed to show just what kind of motor went in and If you disagree about the new power plant please come hear it run first. Pitty the neighbors. Folks the modern Cobra Jet implanted within has the documentation showing the engine was in the $20,000 range in parts alone. This beaut has had its body off resto done and is %100 straight and %100 metal. IMO humbly this car rates so......... Out of 10....................
9+ Drivetrain.... ( Yes its an automatic currently but this vehicle has its Hurst shifter it came with when acquired and my apologies I don't have it in yet.) But once you hear this vehicle ( yes I'll post a video soon) and once you drive this vehicle) nothing to say but where's my 3,4 or maybe 5 speed). 9 out of 10 Body. 0 rust 0 rust oh my lordy 0 rust.... Darnit.... Now Folks the body is straight, its clean, its all metal and the paint is just short of very darn good and only because I typically don't grade non trailer queens that way. The car is beautiful but it gets driven once a week at least about 10 miles. The interior is a 8/9 whats there has no fading no tears and darn near little wear....but yes the vehicle is currently in the shop getting touched up. As you can see whats there is original and clean. Whats not like the radio missing can you guess? Huh? Darn genius you figured out why its in the shop. Yes photos once done later. Once done if you really want to know, visit and you can add it all up for its true cost as it sits or for those who really know. Us asking you for best offer might be insane, but the first $38,000 takes it and that includes the $5,000 going into right now. Lastly everyone the car is having Cobra badges placed on each front qrtr panel as it should with a certified Cobra Engine but because the modern cobra jet put in 2013 is a 351 block there is a 351 emblem on the scoop. What I'm trying to get at, this car with us will not sport a 428 or 429 emblem. Cars should state what they honestly have. I only bring this up incase a purist somehow missed all that text above and reads these last few statements. I'm a 70% purist so thats what on there. But come on before that is there anyone out there with a new Camaro, Mustang, Dodge....... Want to play with my plain jane as is 69 before badging, I mean there's your fun...........Out.......
