⚠️AIR QUALITY ALERT: Wildfires across Minnesota and central Canada have sent a thick wall of wood smoke into our area, causing PM 2.5 and PM 10 ratings to spike to unhealthy levels.

Thankfully, the forecast does call for a significant decrease by race time, but it will nevertheless remain at uncomfortable levels. For this reason, NOVA BMX has decided the following:

We currently plan to run the race as scheduled, but recommend using personal discretion and taking it easy during the pre-race practice. Anyone who has signed up but later decides against racing at any point up until 7:00 PM will be refunded. During the race, any riders can let stagers know if they need more time to recover between rounds.

If you have signed up to race or volunteer but do not feel comfortable participating tonight, no worries - just shoot us a direct message and we will take care of the rest.

Coach Kevin Caccavale is coming back to NOVA BMX to host the 2026 Summer Camp! All proficiencies, ages six and older are welcome to participate.

July 27-31 | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

PRICE PER RIDER
$250/week | $50/day

USABMX membership required. Riders must bring all equipment (bike, helmet, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, and gloves) packed lunch, and water bottle. No loaner equipment is available.

VERY Sorry, everyone - we opened the track for practice, radar was clear - but then out of nowhere we got absolutely CRUSHED by a sudden microburst that flooded the track and is still bringing lightning. We tried brooming it off during the deluge, but it was just too much.

We never like to cancel when folks are already on the road, but the lightning and flooding has forced our hand. We'll see you all next week!
