In 2024 we made the decision to move our business to Wood River IL - to our hometown. Main Street Automotive began its journey in 2017 in Belleville, Illinois, with a simple goal - to provide honest, dependable auto repair that people could trust. In 2024, after several successful years, we made the decision to move our business back home to Wood River, Illinois - the community where we grew up,

where we're raising our children, and where our family and friends are rooted. Being able to grow our business right here in our hometown means the world to us. It's more than just fixing cars - it's about helping our neighbors, supporting our community, and being part of the place that's given us so much. With nearly 30 years of experience as a technician, Danny brings a lifetime of knowledge, ensuring our neighbors receive the reliable, hometown service they deserve. UPDATE - 06/11/26 - Edwardsville Rd. from Whitelaw to Third Street will be closed for road repairs on Friday, 06/12/26.
UPDATE - 6/10/26 - Edwardsville Rd from Whitelaw to Second will be closed for road repairs on Thursday, 6/11/26.
NOTICE - On Wednesday, June 10th, Kamex Inc. will be repaving Edwardsville Rd. where they have upgraded the infrastructure underneath. They will start near 5th Street and work their way west to Whitelaw. Please avoid the area and use other routes where possible. Slow down and exercise safe driving, help keep the construction crews safe.

After a devastating house fire, this family lost everything. We are collecting donations to help them get back on their feet and provide essentials for their young daughter.
