I’VE ANCHORED MY SOUL IN JESUS MY LORD!!
I’ve been on a couple of big war ships. They are really huge and they are made to stay on the top of the water. They are so large, it is amazing that they don’t just sink. Sometimes when the ship must stop, the sailors drop several anchors that weigh several tons apiece to hold the ship in place and prevent it from shifting and going off course. The anchor grips the bottom and holds the ship steady.
Spiritually, we all need something to hold us where we need to be. We need something to keep us on course, we need a spiritual anchor. An anchor is useless unless it is needed. The ship is our souls, the storms are the troubled times of our lives, but the anchor that holds us steady and prevents our ship from wrecking is JESUS!! Everyone needs JESUS as their “sure” anchor.

I've anchored my soul in the haven of rest,
I'll sail the wide seas no more;
The tempest may sweep o'er the wild stormy deep,
In Jesus I'm safe evermore.

IT’S YOUR TIME, USE IT WISELY!!
Every day is a good day if you know how to use it. Time is like money, we use it, spend it and waste it. The problem is that we can usually get more money but to acquire more time is not possible. Once time is gone by, it's gone. Time can be our friend or our worse enemy, depending upon our actions and reactions to the events of the day. We can choose to be joyful or miserable, happy or sad and determine the course of our days. Time does not stop or wait for us to decide on how we deal with our opportunity on earth. Do we use time or just spend and waste it. It's up to us! Don't run out of time!!!
Revelation 10:5-6 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, [6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer.

THE FIRE OF SIN!!
Fire, if neglected, will soon gain strength and eventually get out of control! The wildfire in Canada has burned over 1400 square miles and is still not controlled. The winds and dry conditions add fuel to the flames. I have noticed that sin is the same way. It grows even faster when leaders and others "fan the flames" of evil. The Good LORD knew this when He issued a set of rules known as law to restrict the evil desires of people. From GOD's laws people developed their own laws to regulate the behavior of people that would do wrong things. People in power and authority can change and nullify man made laws however, no one can alter GOD's law, because there is no higher authority than The Almighty. When GOD's laws are neglected the end results are disastrous. This is the current condition of America and the world. It's a terrible time, GOD help us!

A JOURNEY IN A LEAKY BOAT!
Many times our lives are compared to a rough journey or a uneasy voyage, with all the dangerous obstacles along the way. It seems like there are alway some troubles or problems that turn up on a daily basis. The Bible tells that Abraham left his home and family to go on a journey that the ALMIGHTY had given to him. Abraham took his journey by FAITH, not knowing where he was going but trusting GOD. Today, CHRISTians must realize that our journey or voyage is being directed by the HOLY SPIRIT, He leads our steps to the final land. As our nation is reeling in the grip of this political confusion, we need to look to THE LORD for His guidance, that He will give great wisdom to those that are searching for an en of this. Political infighting. Many looking to human intelligence to deliver us from this plague. Our boats have sprung leaks, so America must truly begin a heart felt cry to Him that is in control of every situation. As all believer humbly pray, seeking His guidance and yielding to His sovereignty. The road is hard, we need the CAPTAIN OF THE STORM TO SAIL OUR VESSEL.

OUR FUTURE IS THE CHILDREN!
Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression. Our children are the hope of our society, the hope of the future leadership of our churches and our society. As we try to raise our children to live successfully in their adulthood, there are others showing them how to fail. Parents, Grandparents let me urge you to set the right example and training for your children. Teach them that THE LORD should and must be the top priority in their lives. If CHRIST is first, then everything else must be second. Please take those children to CHURCH instead of the ball field, instead of resting, instead of any and every distraction of Satan. What or who is leaving an impression on your Child or Grandchild?? It will show up in their lives someday!!

A BLANK SHEET IF PAPER!!
If you bought a book and found as you opened it that were no words on any of the pages. I’m sure you would not be happy, because that book would be useless to you and all those around you. Sadly, many folks are just like that book, they look good on the outside, but they are empty, blank and of no use on the inside. There are reasons why folks do not read nor listen to and study the Bible. Perhaps it not on their priority list, they say that they are too busy, their hearts are empty to the commandments of THE LORD. To many, the outside is just a cover up for a emptiness that is inside. What ever the excuse, get a Bible or an audio Bible and use the Word of GOD to write On the pages of your heart.
Colossians 3:15-16 KJVS
[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. [16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

RELIGION, REALLY??
Religious ideology and dogma is not salvation. The world is religious, in fact, it's probably the most religious time in history. More and more people are becoming Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu and so on, but fail to find salvation. Regrettably, there are those in the, quote-unquote, CHRISTian churches that depend upon religion to get them to heaven. Salvation is based upon what Jesus did, not what we do. Jesus is not "a" way, He is "the" way. The early church was being infiltrated with Jews that wanted to impose religion on those that were saved. Be circumcised, keep the law, follow the rules and so forth. Is Jesus a half Savior and the rest is out part or are we simply the recipient of God's incredible grace? When a person is saved they desire to live right, not follow a lot of religious rules. Give The Lord the praise.
