VOTE YES ON 1!!!!
Still a lot of people calling and asking. Vote yes to keep your right to repair your vehicle wherever you choose to. It’ll help your favorite independent auto repair shop as well as yourself down the road. If this goes the other direction you’ll be forced to go to the dealers and they will create a monopoly and prices go up. They are trying to withhold mechanical data not personal data read the booklet you got in the mail. They are sneakily saying personal data because you own the mechanical data to your vehicle. No matter what you have that’s wireless you are at risk of hackers. Let’s face it we probably all put more personal data on Facebook than anyone could ever get from your vehicle. Would you trust an independent shop you’ve been frequenting for years or the big manufacturers and dealers? Protect us and yourselves! Please and thank you!! I know we thank you and so won’t your favorite auto repair shop.
