Project 1983 BMW R80 RT is finished. I've done a /7 Headlight and turn signals on this RT. The alternator has been rewired and has new brushes with new diode board and rectifier. The bike has been resealed from the engine to the final drive. New front floating disc brakes with new lines.

My fully built BMW r1200c ratbike. Looks can always be deceiving LOL. My bike has bigger throttle bodies, big cams, upgraded computer with piggyback fuel control, upgraded injectors and fuel pressure regulator, full custom suspension, 17 inch rear wheel conversion, mini ape hangers and custom controls, galfer brake lines, a custom 21 exhaust, ECT.
Before this exhaust it made 109 horsepower and 94 lb of torque at the tire with open pod filters and lake pipes basically. She is way up from the 61 horsepower she started with!!!

We have a 1983 BMW r80rt ratbike. It has been sitting for a little over 3 years. It was leaking from multiple orifices LOL it's getting a reseal from the front timing cover to the rear differential. The front forks are being rebuilt new brakes and brake lines are going on, R80/7 front headlight now is going on, rear differential is getting resealed, transmission is getting new seals, new charging system wiring with replacement of the diode board and the rectifier.

Working on fixing a busted right intake boot. I found that the new boot was still moving up and down with the throttle body and everything attached and it blew off the vacuum line again. I pulled the plug and borescope the engine. I found catastrophic engine failure, due to ring failure going through the nikasil lining. Customer I found a practical way to fix the bike with a brand used engine from a parts supplier I trust.

The past 5 months have been a living hell. You hire me because of my experience and my knowledge of motorcycles and I wanted to learn something new versus the usual that I do with my personal motorcycles businesses. In that time I was denied my logins for the different manufacturers and denied training that was supposed to be paid for the first month that I was there. Instead of being a service technician I was moved to fleet builds and that has been my life as I've been waiting for an appropriate answer for me to be doing the job that you hired me for. I hate hearing I hired you because of your experience and skills but if you don't use it then what the f*** am I there for. To meet your quotas that you should have hired more people to do. I've denied critical training or ask to do 80 hours of online training for free on my own time. As they've hired new people and put them in positions above me they train them on different units that I never got training for they put a fleet technician doing a service technician's job without training me. I had the service manager ignore me for over 2 months until I talk to the owner's son. I was given a half ass apology. I had my service writer come at me in a threatening manner and try to overrun his payroll and act like he's my manager or the GM. There's a click between the service writer and a few of the service techs and since the service writer got into it with me I've been treated with nothing but disrespect I've been mocked made fun of instigated and is treated with total disrespect I come in there to give you respect and respect everybody around me but if you don't give me that same courtesy how am I supposed to be doing the same for you.

I've seen service techs not do maintenance jobs because their hours didn't go aside with the shop hours and forgo doing critical maintenance on brand new motorcycles. I don't know how you can look at yourself everyday and know that you're treating a disabled veteran with total disregard and disrespect.

Just in for service this beautiful 1983 BMW R80 rt in for some service. A little electrical, a little brake, and some leaks to take care of and she'll be back on the road doing what BMWs do the best smiles for Miles.

Was so close to getting her running before I had to run back home. Both Eric and I were exhausted from putting the bike back together and getting her so close to running only to be thwarted by the battery. We spent hours trying to find something that would work. But no luck it will be running soon.

Eric Has gone all out on making His custom built BMW R1200C one of a kind with all these beautiful touches. Can't wait for this bike to be on the road being a neck breaker lol.
