Today is the last day of our physical shop location, and tomorrow we officially go back to 100% mobile. And honestly, we’re excited about it.
When we opened in June 2020, we were a 100% mobile automotive repair company. We were bringing the repair shop to our customers at a time when mobile repair was new in Iowa. We’re proud to have helped pave the way for mobile automotive repair here over the last six years.
We eventually opened our Winterset location to give our customers another option, but even with a physical shop, about 90% of our business remained mobile.
That told us something pretty important: people like having us come to them.
So tomorrow, the trucks head back out, full time. Your driveway, your workplace, your farm, your parking lot — wherever your vehicle is, that’s where we’ll be.Our services aren’t changing. Our people aren’t changing. What we’re doing is simply putting our focus back on the part of our business our customers have continued to choose.
We still have plans for a physical location in the future, something that fits our business model better, but for now, we’re going all-in on mobile and getting back to what made this company different from the beginning.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us since 2020 and everyone who has joined us along the way. We’re pretty excited about what comes next.
