Iron Man Stock Cars Bring a Saturday Night Showdown to I-35 Speedway
ReMax Heritage Night and Bob Reber Flag-On Night promise hard-charging USRA Iron Man action, fan-favorite divisions, and a full evening of racing excitement.
WINSTON, Mo. — Get ready for a Saturday night packed with horsepower, close racing, and edge-of-your-seat action as the Iron Man rolls into I-35 Speedway on September 5, 2026—but this time, it is not the movie hero. It is the Iron Man of USRA Stock Car racing, where rugged drivers will chase the top prize on ReMax Heritage Night and Bob Reber Flag On Night. Racing begins at 7:00 p.m. and will showcase USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners, beginner tuners, E-Mods, and Midwest Lightning Sprints. Fans can look forward to the USRA Iron Man Stock Cars delivering the kind of side-by-side, nose-to-tail racing that makes Saturday nights at I-35 Speedway a must-see.
Racing starts at 7:00 p.m., so arrive early, grab a seat, and settle in for a full night of action. Pit gates open at 4:00 p.m., and grandstand gates open at 5:00 p.m.
General admission is $22 for this special event. Admission is $18 for seniors 62 and older and military members, and kids 18 and under get in free. ID may be requested. I-35 Speedway is easy to find off Exit 64 on Interstate 35, just a quarter mile east of the exit. Free parking and on-site restrooms are available, making it simple for fans and families to enjoy the night. Coolers and outside food or drinks are not permitted.
Come hungry and make it a race-night feast. Trackside Bar & Grill in Turn 1 will serve tenderloins, chicken strips, burgers, fries, and tacos. The Main Concession Stand will offer burgers, walking tacos, hot dogs, popcorn, and Coca-Cola products. The Sugar Shack in Turn 1 will feature funnel cakes, fried Oreos, root beer floats, ice cream, and other sweet treats.
Racer Information: Pit gates open at 4:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting begins and pill draw closes at 6:00 p.m. Hot laps start at 6:15 p.m., followed by the first heat race after the invocation and national anthem. Additional announcements will be made at the driver’s meeting.
Pit passes are $40 for adults, $25 for kids ages 6–10, and free for children 5 and under. Fuel 110 will be available on site.
Iron Man Series drivers: the top 12 in heat-race passing points will lock into the feature. The top eight will redraw under the flag stand on the grandstand side at intermission, with young fans taking part in the redraw. The top 10 from the last chance race will also qualify, along with two provisionals.
***Transponders are required and must be mounted on the midplate/firewall with an opening to the ground and the metal face pointed toward the racing surface. Drivers are responsible for ensuring the transponder is on the racecar before entering the track. Drivers with non-working transponders will be sent to the tech area after the race. If no transponder is found, $25 per race will be deducted from payout.***
After heat races, feature lineups will be set from highest to lowest passing points, with the top four cars taking part in a redraw. The redraw will be held under the flag stand at intermission and conducted by four young race fans, each representing one of the top four passing-point positions.
For special events, the track may include additional young fans to redraw more positions, such as fifth, sixth, seventh, and beyond. Drivers are encouraged to watch the redraw and participate with the young fans representing their positions.
The top two finishers in each heat and the top four feature finishers must scale after the race. Cars should enter the scales from the backstretch before Turn 3.
***Hobby Stocks may use right-front bead locks.***
Drivers must register with I-35 Speedway through MyRacePass or bring a completed registration form from the speedway website.
One-night temporary registration is available for $15. USRA class participants must be registered with USRA, and one-night temporary licenses will be available at the track for $10. Alternative USRA B-Mod rules apply.
Minors 17 and under must have a completed Minor’s Release to enter the pit area. Competitors 17 and younger must provide a completed Minor’s Release, a copy of a birth certificate with a valid state stamp or official seal, and a typed driver resume or profile outlining racing experience for both the young participant and their parents. The resume must be attached to the Minor’s Release, and both parents must provide notarized signatures. Notary services are available on site. All requirements must be completed before a minor driver enters the track.
