A chilly night at the track this past Saturday night. Tonight was Kingdom Truss night at the races, which brought out 73 total cars for dirt track action. Tonight was also C.A.R.B. night at the track, which awarded many of our drivers during intermission.

For on track action, Garrett Stonum was able to capitalize on the moment to secure the feature win, his 5th on the season. Cameron Sample ran strong and finished in 2nd, Chad Walker in 3rd, Gabriel Allen 4th and Troy Fudge in 5th.

In the USRA Hobby Stocks, Tyler Brown was able to collect his first feature win on the year! Brown had to battle with AJ Sayers and Brad Chumbly for what felt like the entire race before Sayers came in 2nd and Chumbly 3rd. Chance Wilson finished in 4th and Shaun Wirtz in 5th.

Houston Johnson was able to get to the lead early and drive away with tonight’s Late Model feature race, Johnson’s 9th feature win in the Late Models. Adam Dunwoodie posted a 2nd place finish, Paul Glendenning in 3rd, Tommy Cordray 4th and Tony Manley in 5th.

Brad Mick got back to Victory Lane in the USRA Tuners, Mick’s 8th win on the season. Brett Holman came in 2nd and Joe Anderson in 3rd.

The Open Vintage series returned to I-35 tonight, where Mike Lefholz scored the feature win. Ron Lefholz came in 2nd, David Clark 3rd, John Hunnell 4th and Rob Brash in 5th.

Chad Clancy was the car to beat in the USRA B-Mods, collecting his 4th feature win at I-35 this season. Jace Boney came home 2nd, Sturgis Streeter in 3rd, John Ross 4th and Brayden Abrams in 5th.

USRA Stock Cars rolled out next, where Chris Dishong picked up the feature win, his 9th on the season and first win since August 8th at I-35. Tyler Cadwallader finished in 2nd, Jake Hoover in 3rd, Matthew Lance passed 7 cars to finish in 4th and Scott Carlson rounded out the top-5.

Houston Johnson drove away to score feature win number 16 in the USRA Modifieds. Tyler Grooms finished in 2nd and Brad Johnson in 3rd.

Owen Miller scored the win in the Beginner Tuners, his 2nd win on the season.

Get ready—the 2026 season roars on this Saturday, October 17, 2026, at I-35 Speedway with Kingdom Truss Night at the Races! An action-packed program of weekly racing, Late Models, and Open Vintage is set to light up the track. The speedway will race on each of the next three October Saturdays before celebrating the season at its banquet on November 7, 2026. With the finish line in sight, razor-close points battles will determine the USRA Tuner and USRA Hobby Stock championships. The excitement doesn’t stop there: Saturday’s lineup also features USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, E-Mods, and Beginner Tuners!

The green flag drops at 6:00 p.m.! Pit gates open at 3:00 p.m., and the grandstands open at 4:00 p.m., so arrive early, claim your favorite seat, and get ready for a full-throttle night of racing. General admission is $18. Seniors 62 and older and military members pay $15, and guests 18 and under get in free. Identification may be required.

All the action is easy to find: I-35 Speedway is just one-quarter mile east of Exit 64 on Interstate 35 in Winston, Missouri. Free parking and on-site restrooms are available. Outside food, drinks, and coolers are prohibited.

Come hungry—concessions will be serving crowd favorites all evening! Trackside Bar & Grill in Turn 1 will dish up tenderloins, chicken strips, burgers, fries, and tacos. The Main Concession Stand will offer burgers, walking tacos, hot dogs, popcorn, and Coca-Cola products. Craving something sweet? The Sugar Shack in Turn 1 will feature funnel cakes, fried Oreos, root b**r floats, ice cream, and more.

Racer Information:
Racers, get ready! Pit passes are $40 for adults and $25 for children ages 6–10, while children 5 and under enter free. Pit gates open at 3:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting begins and pill draw closes at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps fire up at 5:15 p.m., and the first heat hits the track after the invocation and national anthem. Additional details will be announced at the driver’s meeting.

Fuel 110 will be available on site. Transponders are required and must be mounted on the midplate/firewall with an opening to the ground, with the metal face directed toward the racing surface. Drivers, make sure your transponder is installed before you roll onto the track!

Once the heat races wrap up, feature lineups will be set from highest to lowest passing points. Then the drama builds: the top four cars will redraw under the flag stand during intermission, with four young race fans each drawing one of the top four starting positions!

After every race, the top two finishers in each heat and the top four finishers in each feature must report to the scales. Cars should enter the scales from the backstretch before Turn 3. Hobby Stocks may use right-front bead locks.

Don’t wait—get race-ready before arriving! Drivers must register with I-35 Speedway through MyRacePass or bring a completed form from the speedway website. A one-night temporary registration is available for $15. USRA-class drivers must also be registered with USRA; one-night temporary licenses will be available at the track for $10. Alternative USRA B-Mod rules apply.
Young racers, be sure every requirement is complete before race day! Anyone 17 or younger must have a completed Minor’s Release to enter the pit area. Drivers 17 and younger must also provide a copy of a birth certificate bearing a valid state stamp or official seal and a typed resume or profile describing the racing experience of both the participant and the parents. The resume must be attached to the release, and both parents’ signatures must be notarized. Notary services are available on site. All requirements must be completed before a minor driver enters the track.

Every point counts! USRA points can be earned through October 24, and track points will be awarded through the final race of the season.

And we’re back! After our 3-week break from racing at I-35 Speedway with 2 rainout cancellations and being closed last weekend for USRA Nationals we are finally back in action. 91 total cars hit the track for Team Spray Foam & Triple Cross Trucking night at the races. Tonight was also the 3rd Annual Harold Robb Sr. Sport Compact Extravaganza Memorial race, which was also honored in pre-race ceremonies.
For on track action, the E-Mods rolled out first for feature action. Chris Dishong had the car to beat all night and would score the feature win. Garrett Stonum came in 2nd, Tony Layne in 3rd, James Silkwood in 4th and Chad Walker in 5th.

Ben Berwanger would lead green to checkered in the USRA Hobby Stocks. Anthony Whitham kept the pressure on before coming home 2nd, Clint Baker 3rd, Tyler Brown in 4th and AJ Sayers rounded out the top-5.

Next up was the USRA B-Mods, where Jamie Aleshire would get to the lead early and didn’t look back. John Ross finished in 2nd, Nic Hanes recovered from some early race troubles to finish in 3rd, Chase Milton in 4th and Jamie Jones in 5th.

Austin Kaplan would have a dominant run of his own in the USRA Stock Cars, taking home the feature win. Chris Dishong was fast all night before finishing 2nd. Tyler Cadwallader in 4th, Jake Hoover had to bounce back from some early race issues but finished 4th and Kristchon Hisel in 5th.

Houston Johnson battled through a physical USRA A-Mod feature to score the feature win. Brad Johnson led multiple laps before finishing in 2nd, Tyler Grooms in 3rd, Terry Vantrump 4th and Nathan Hampton in 5th.

Another large part of Harold Robb Sr.’s legacy was the creation of the Beginning Tuner class, giving the younger generation of drivers a chance to learn how to race. With the help of the Robb family, tonight’s Beginner Tuner feature race was paid out. Calvin Robb won the feature race and Wesson Deen finished in 2nd.

In the Late Model feature, Houston Johnson started on the pole and wouldn’t be caught, taking home the feature win. Paul Glendenning kept him honest finishing 2nd, Tommy Cordray in 3rd, Adam Dunwoodie 4th and Michael King in 5th.

And finally, the Harold Robb Sr. Extravaganza. The lead changed back and forth, before Brett Holman got to the front and would keep it there and win the memorial race. Brad Mick was looking to make it 3-in a row but would finish in 2nd. Devon Matthews in 3rd, Samuel Moore 4th and Andrew Robb in 5th.

Get ready for Saturday night excitement at I-35 Speedway! Racing returns Saturday, October 10, 2026, and we’re thanking Mother Nature in advance for an incredible 80-degree day. Once the sun sets in the west, the air can turn chilly this time of year, so we’re firing up the action early at 6:00 p.m.

In a standout show of support for the racing community, I-35 Speedway is assisting US 36 Raceway with its Saturday-night Missouri Nationals. Because the two tracks share many of the same racers, this coordination gives USRA competitors the exciting opportunity to earn USRA National, Regional, and Track points twice in one night! Fans can look forward to an action-packed Triple Cross Trucking and Team Spray Foam Night at the Races, featuring the Harold Robb Sr. Tuner Extravaganza.
