So I’ve had a lot of silly questions and silly comments lately, on this car, 😡😡😡😡🤷🏻♂️Why did you paint it those awe full colors. 🤦🏻♂️that’s a 57 not a 55-56 why did you do the two tone to look like one, in 57 they didn’t do cars like that, you should have kept it black, the bel air trim pkg looked better, bla bla bla, 😂 so here is my answers to clear the air. Not that I have too👎it’s my car my money 💰. So I’ve always wanted out of many race cars a 56 Chevy post topsportsman or chassis car, a nice one, I never could stumble across one with timing and money. I had another 57 chassis car but was a project and way too deep to build, so I sold it. When I owned that car I always wanted to build it as a 57 150 drag pack style car which looks like a 55-56 trim, if you know your Tri 5 cars. Very basic but classy. Here is a picture of a very plain blk -wht 57 150, trim pkg ,so thats why I don’t like the (bel air )trim and 95% of all 57 race cars I’ve seen mimics the (Bel air) theme .So that’s my next closest thing to a 56, so I came across this 57, car was 75% done money was right, and had lots of potential. Here was my chance to do what I wanted, not a 56 but✅ (it will do) as far as black no I hate black, sucks to clean, buff and wanted something different,I chose these two greys, one I had a bunch left from a bike I painted a few years ago, and I wanted a modern look but keep the 50s solid colors. Easy to touch up and fix especially on a race car, they get beat up quick, so haters can hate but it’s my car so 🫵 Thanks for your input 🤟
