A customer recently needed an ambient air temperature sensor replaced on her Chevy Malibu. She had been quoted significantly more elsewhere. I was able to come to her, replace the sensor in about 15 minutes, and get her back on the road. She later posted that she paid substantially less than what she had been quoted by a local shop.
I’m not here to overcharge people because they don’t know how difficult a repair is. I’m here to provide honest work, fair pricing, and convenient mobile service.

Flashing check engine light and running rough.
Tracked down a cylinder misfire, confirmed a failed ignition coil with a coil-swap test, replaced it and road tested.

Had a customer with a 2012 Chevy Malibu that would not stay running.
Found the serpentine belt completely shredded. Checked the tensioner and pulleys for binding, wobble, or other issues, and also made sure there were no shredded belt pieces left wrapped around or stuck in the pulley area.
Everything checked out good, so I installed a new belt, verified proper tracking, and she’s back up and running.
Best part? The customer avoided a tow and a trip to the shop.

A little preventive maintenance goes a long way.
Today’s on-site work included servicing 3 trailers, greasing all fittings, topping off oil-bath hubs, installing batteries on 2 trailers, checking truck fluids, tire tread, and replacing mower blades.
Keeping equipment maintained now helps prevent downtime and bigger repairs later.
Thanks to the customer for allowing me to work out of their shop and keep their equipment ready to go.

Fresh brake fluid = safer braking.
Today's project was a complete brake fluid flush on a 2016 Kia Sorento.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which can reduce braking performance and contribute to corrosion inside your brake system. Replacing it at the recommended interval helps keep your brakes performing the way they should.

I'll be honest... with a feels-like temperature of 107°F, this job took about twice as long as it normally would. Sometimes the weather is your toughest tool to work around! 🥵

Finally had a chance to track down the slowest tire leak I've ever seen. Turns out the bead is leaking right where the wheel has corrosion. Luckily, my wife and I buy all of our tires from Dahl Automotive, so they're covered under warranty. The tire has leaked ever since it was installed. Last time I checked it, I only looked for a nail or screw. Today I grabbed the old bottle of soapy water and found the culprit. Just another day at Johnson’s Precision Repair LLC. 😂 🔧

Another one back on the road!
Replaced a worn front lower control arm on this Ford Explorer today. Minnesota rust made one of the fasteners put up a serious fight, but with a little persistence (and eventually the cutoff wheel 😅), I got it done.
