New engine is being honed as we speak and vacuum pump part have arrive. Should start being assembled soon hopefully on dyno end February or early March.

Well, I haven’t been very active on this page. Anyone follow Michael Andersen motorsports been a big break but our new engine should be done in February early March.

Well after a little time off we have started working on the dragster again. We have had a few distractions away from racing to deal with, but most seem to be taken care of have one obligation to take care of then full speed ahead. Our new block, heads, and manifold is at the engine shop. The piston, cam, and belt drive have arrived. We are now waiting on carburetor, crank and rods. We have decided to build 632 CI Brodix block, heads, top end combo. Chassis is going to Salt Lake City next week for update and to prep for engine.

We have not post much on the site after we had our engine stolen, and tools. With encouragement from my wife and friends we just ordered a new race engine. We are working with Moffitt & Bratton Race Engine. We have put down money on a brand-new engine. We have gone a little different direction with Chevy motor, it will be Brodix aluminum block and heads, will be about a 580 cubic inch engine. I am just excited to have something new to post.

We had a little set back while getting the V8 Vega ready to go Paul found a bad head gasket. We had a lot going on I was trying to get part organized so that this weekend so Quentin Jewett will be able to see the part we have for the dragster. So Paul Newby and Titus worked on Vega, they spend many hours pulling the heads and replacing the head gaskets, they also installed roller rockers, and hope to pick up some time.The Vega is back together and running. Friday night will be testing and tuning the new set-up for Sat and Sun. Hope we see you at the races.
