One camper, two layouts.

Did you know our HS 640 comes with two different layouts? Layout two adds a large wardrobe cabinet for extra gear storage, while layout one skips the wardrobe and gives you more seating. Either way, there's plenty of storage overhead and under the counters.

What goes into an HS 640 wall?

Each one uses 1½-inch-thick PIR foam with fiberglass panels. It's well insulated at R-11, rot resistant, and strong enough to be part of the camper's structure. We pair the panels with our thermal break frame to put it all together.

Ollie (🐶) Lorenzo, and Marilyn came to see us at Overland Expo® and let us tour their new 700 Slide In Alaskan Camper setup. Their plans for the fall include traveling to New England for the fall colors!

Since they are fairly new owners, we were curious about their camper experience on their first road trips. Here is what they said:

- Lorenzo shared he was excited to be able to go wherever they wanted - the gnarliest roads are no problem for their setup, plus the low profile of the camper helps get them through tight spots.

- They both feel right at home in the Alaskan interior, “it’s warm and cozy and different than other modern campers!”

- Marilyn loves the double door, especially with dogs it’s a nice way to keep them inside the camper while leaving the top of the door open for air.

- Marilyn and Lorenzo needed a “passenger type vehicle” as they live in a condo and they can’t park a large RV. This setup fits!

- They also noted there are national parks that require hard sided campers for camping due to wildlife, and the Alaskan fits that requirement!

All in all, Lorenzo, Marilyn, and Ollie are enjoying their adventure rig and have many miles ahead of them. Thank you for the tour!

Every Alaskan has been somewhere worth talking about.

Maybe it was a first camping trip, a secret favorite spot you keep going back to, or a road you probably shouldn't have taken. And for some of you, those memories go back further than your own camper — to the one your dad or grandpa owned first.
