Our hearts are broken and saddened by the loss of a fellow student and friend of our youngest son this past weekend. 💔

We ask that you surround this sweet family with your prayers, love, and support. Please keep his friends, teachers, classmates, and our entire community close in your hearts as we face the difficult days ahead.

In moments like this, we are reminded just how precious life is. Love one another. Cherish one another. Be present. And always choose kindness. ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of a member of our high school student community. This is devastating news, and our hearts are with the student's family, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this tragedy. Windsor Charter Academy is a small, tight-knit community, and our Firebird Families are here to support one another.

Out of respect for the family's privacy, we are not sharing the student's name at this time, and we ask that you respect their privacy until details become available through appropriate channels.

Be kind. Be present. Be the difference. ❤️

As we begin this new school year, let’s take a moment to remember the young men who should be walking through those school doors, joining their classmates, continuing their education, playing sports, making memories, and simply growing into the young men they were meant to become.

Instead, their families, friends, classmates, teachers, coaches, and educational teams are beginning this school year with an empty seat and a heart that aches for the one who should be there.

Please pray for these families and everyone who loved and supported these young men. Pray for the classmates who will feel their absence, the teachers and coaches who will carry their memories, and the families learning how to navigate a new normal they never asked for.

We may not be able to change what has happened, but we can choose to be kind, be present, check on one another, and be the difference in someone’s life.

❤️ Hold your people a little tighter. Check on your neighbors. Be patient. Be kind. You never know what someone is carrying.
