Hank has made it Facebook official so we shall follow suit. Tomorrow, March 21st 2024, will be our final day of work. We would like to thank each and every customer who has helped make the last 30yrs possible!!! You all mean so much to us. Black Bear Auto Care is the new owner of our beloved spot on 302 and you can rest assure that he and his crew will take good care of you. He is no stranger to Honda’s and has been a well versed mechanic for many years. You can certainly trust that he will take care of you and your vehicle if you wish to give him a try. Same building just a new name and faces. Once again Thank You all so much for your dedicated support over the years!!!!!

I’ve been holding off on writing this post because I just wasn’t sure exactly what to say but before the cat gets all the way out of the bag, I’ll try my best. After 30 yrs of servicing the best customers anyone could ask for we’ve decided now is the time to hanging the keys on the wall and move on to the next journey that life is providing us. It hasn’t been an easy decision with all of you in mind but at 72, Henry is looking forward to taking time to slow down and travel more and as for myself, I’m looking at exploring other opportunities that have been placed in front of me. We want to personally thank each and everyone of you that have ventured through our doors and trusted us with the repairs to your vehicle. I am still here and working until whomever buys the building and property tells me it’s time to go. So if you need repairs give us a shout. Again thank you to everyone that has been a part of our success. We couldn’t have done it without you!!!!!

So we’ve been getting asked this question a lot lately.

“Should I have full coverage on my vehicle?”

I tell these customers to ask themselves 2 simple questions.

(1) Can you afford a vehicle payment?
(2) Can you afford to purchase, out of pocket, your current vehicle at market value? And I’m not talking about KBB or NADA. I’m saying can you afford to buy a vehicle similar in condition and mileage to yours for what it is currently listed for?

If you answered “NO” to either one of these questions then yes, you should maintain full coverage on your current vehicle.

PSA: As most of you know, early this year we switch our credit card processing company to help combat the rising cost of doing business. Well that hasn’t seemed to help much as credit card companies are offering more benefits ( cash back, air line miles etc) to their users for spending their money but small business has been the ones footing that 3-4% interest on each and every transaction, costing us hundreds if not thousands of our hard earned money each month just for simply accepting to take plastic. It would’ve saved us and you a bunch if those who use a debit card could just simply enter their PIN number instead of hitting the bypass button. With that said, tomorrow we will be switching over to what’s known as a cash discount program.
