Just some information, We use Service Manager Pro Software to determine repair times. I use it to have consistent, transparent billing and insures a fair and consistent customer experience.
Repair times (labor times) in Service Manager Pro 3.0 are determined through a comprehensive, proprietary database maintained by Powersports Data Solutions. Key aspects include:
⢠It contains over 3 million (or up to 4.5 million in related descriptions) different labor operations covering tens of thousands of powersports models (e.g., over 28,000ā32,000 models across categories like motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, and more).
⢠These times are model-specific: users select the exact year, make, and model of the vehicle, then browse or search for relevant operations (e.g., engine overhauls, minor repairs, valve adjustments, etc.).
⢠The labor times represent flat rate estimates ā standardized times for how long a repair or service should take, allowing dealers to quote and bill consistently.
⢠Sources for these times are compiled from industry data, including OEM/factory service information where applicable (e.g., factory service intervals are explicitly included for thousands of models, and some OEM flat labor rates can be pulled directly).
