Hello,

Attached is the public comment summary from the Wi******er public comment meeting held on Aug. 13.

I also wanted to share that the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant application was successfully submitted. The grants manager reviewed the application and confirmed that everything looked good. Deputy director, Amber Worthington, will present the project to the LWCF Advisory Committee sometime in September.

The next steps are:

September 2026: LWCF Advisory Committee reviews and scores applications
November 2026: Park Board approves the project for submission to the National Park Service
January–July 2027: Applicant is notified of the award
We feel very positive about how things are progressing. Thank you for all your support, input and partnership throughout this process. The community’s involvement has been an important part of getting us to this point. We will continue to keep you updated as we learn more.

As most of you have already seen our new fuel dispensers are here and running great !!! No more issues at the fuel pump , and fuel is available 24/7 . Thank you for all your patience over this last year while we where dealing with the replacement process.

Super exciting news !!! We are getting new fuel dispensers in the next couple weeks . This will allow 24/7 fuel availability and no more issue at the pumps . This is a project that has been in the works for sometime , I thought I would share . Thank you Bobbi
