A/C service. How it works.
I have a $45 flat fee to hook your car up on the gauges and check pressures and temperatures. After that there are 4 possibilities.

#1 Pressures and temperatures are good and no service is needed
#2 The system is working but the pressures and temps are low. I will add refrigerant to get the correct pressures. Refrigerant is $45 a pound with a 1 lb. minimum. Unless you have a large SUV most cars will not take more than 1 lb. to top off.
#3 The system is empty and not working. I will perform a leak test and if no large leak is found I will add dye and charge the system at $45 a lb. There may be a small undetectable leak that has leaked out over time. If the system fails the test I will give you an idea of what may be wrong and how much it may cost to fix.
#4 pressures are good but there is an electrical problem keeping the system from working. If the problem is obvious I'll give you an idea of what it will cost to fix for no charge. If it is not obvious there would be an hourly diagnostic fee to find out what's wrong.
