1936 BMW R17 converted into a "schneekrad" (snowmobile).
I came across this prototype a few years back and saw it again last night on the internet.

It was created by a an engineer in 1936 and was never mass produced by BMW.
What an incredible engineering exercise, I thought I would share it with you.
